I wish I could leave 3 1/2 stars. The food was decent. The service was good. However, the prices here have gotten too high. $15.99 for my meal was a bit much. I ordered the Greek meatballs. The menu description said “our meatballs.” They were not homemade. They did not have the homemade look, taste, or consistency. They had the same appearance, texture, and taste as frozen meatballs from the supermarket. I had their meatballs in the past, and they were homemade once upon a time. The salad was a decent size, but was primarily lettuce. The clincher was getting my receipt, and not noticing until later I had a message at the bottom that read “If paid with cash, you could’ve saved $1.47.” That was an additional 4% charge on my total bill, on top of an almost 25% tip. That left a bad impression on me. If you need to charge your customers a fee for paying with a debit or credit card, please post a notice on your menu, and at the register. I found that not posting a notice to your guests about this charge to be sneaky, and underhanded. I believe we should all try to support locally when we can, but frozen meatballs, and hidden charges has left a bad taste in my mouth. I doubt I’ll be back for a long time. I also have a concern, why do the ranch dressing bottles not have a top on them? I would think with all the germs and illnesses in our world, those bottles should have some kind of covering on the top, to help prevent cross...

The food is always great. The problem I ran into today was when I was packing my leftovers into a box. My meal came with a disposable plastic ramekin of tzakziki sauce, which I had not completely finished. As I was packing the to-go box with my salad, chicken, pita bread and was about to put in the DISPOSABLE PLASTIC ramekin, my waitress informed me that she would have to charge me if the ramekin of half eaten sauce goes into my box. When I further inquired as to why in the world I’d be charged to take home my half-eaten sauce, she told me that they are required to charge for any ramekin that goes out the door or it will be taken from her tip (and then pointed out that the owner was standing about 5 feet away). I tried to explain to the waitress that it wasn’t extra sauce, it was the half eaten sauce that came on my plate (which she was well aware of) and the price of it was included in the price of my meal... so why in the world could I not take it home with me?!? This was the most absurd encounter I have ever had at any restaurant with any wait staff. Needless to say she took away the container when she cleared the plates and threw it...

From the moment we sat down, we could tell that the waitress wanted us out. We ordered our sodas and then she stood there expecting us to order without even opening our menu. We got our drink’s and ordered but she couldn’t give any recommendations. We asked for our salads (that are only lettuce, onion, tomato) to come without onion and tomato, which she repeated to us, less than a minute later she was back with our salads WITH onion and tomato. Before we could get the dressing on our salads, she was back with the entrées and finally offered straws for our drinks. Two bites into the entrée, salad still on the table, she shows up and puts the check on our table and asks if we need boxes. After we had eaten half of our food, she came back asking what else we needed and reminded us the check was on the table, boxes in hand. The food was average at best, but service alone was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The one star is based on the food alone. You couldn’t pay me to...

Hands down the worst restaurant experience I have had in over a decade. On a recent trip to Asheville, I made the mistake of going to Apollo for dinner as it was down the road from the hotel and my partner was craving pasta. The prices looked decent and the menu was expansive, so we made the mistake of coming here. Instead of being wordy, let me just cut to the chase. The house special pasta is a freaking joke. It is watery and tasteless. I could get a bottle of Ragu and throw it on the ice cold pasta they gave me and that might have more taste. Also ordered the Greek Pizza and immediately regretted it. To top it off, the service is beyond horrible. You know the places where the staff thinks they are doing you a favor by giving you food you paid for? Yup, this is that place. Good luck getting your order on time with courtesy. Then good luck trying to eat food not fit for human consumption.

Not the place to go for fresh and authentic food. Service was good and the restrain and bathroom were clean. The food on the other hand was not good. I got the Big Fat Greek Platter and just by sight I could tell it was not freshly made and had been frozen before. Then I tasted it and it confirmed my thoughts. The meat balls were mush, the chicken was dry, and the gyro had a frozen taste. I will say the chicken did have good flavor though. You can definitely tell the pita came from a package!!!! Not freshly cooked or authentic. The lettuce on my salad was hit or miss, some pieces I could tell was old. I was just hoping for better food considering all the great reviews. Maybe the Italian is better than the Greek but considering google says it’s a Greek restaurant you would think it was better.

My husband got lasagna, so cheesy and gooey, some crispy cheesy bits... oh my gosh! I absolutely loved it and it wasn't even my dish! Whoops, sharing is caring ❤ My sons kids plate of spaghetti was fantastic. Those were the softest and moisturized meatballs I have ever had. He is very picky, he is 6 so can't expect too much. Plenty left over for another day, bonus. I had the chicken parm sub, oh what a delight that was! The bread alone was excellent. Chicken had enough moisture on the inside but was crispy on the outside. We definitely will be back. I wish had room for a slice of cake... next time for sure. Oh and get the house made salad dressing, it had a nice zing to it.
