Worst Inn/hotel/motel I've ever stayed at and definitely not worth the $200/night price. Firstly the place is stuck behind a busy Texas Roadhouse restaurant and the only way in is through their parking lot with a line of cars waiting for food pick ups. The sanitation is a joke. We didn't notice at first, but the room had gnats flying all around and one of the "clean" bath towels had dried blood on it. We brought the issue up with the front desk and they gave us a replacement towel... that also has a weird stain on it. Considering we are in the middle of a pandemic this is especially unacceptable. We notified the front desk again with our grievances and we requested to cancel our stay and all they would offer is a 10% refund for what amounted to a 4 hours stay. Contacting their corporate office didn't help as they said once we're checked in it was out of their hands and any refunds would be up to the individual hotel. So now we're stuck here since it would basically cost us $400 total to book another hotel and still be stuck with the bill for this place. Save yourselves from suffering like we did and stay clear away from this place. P.S. my wife is fighting off the gnats as I was writing this.

5 stars for the hotel and service. The traffic in this area was nuts!! So fast - we were so relieved to get to the hotel and not have to go out again. Our check in was friendly and we were advised that if were were going to walk to the restaurant right next door, to go early as they get busy even at 4pm. Our room was around the back and due to the elevation, our technically 2nd floor room was actually ground level and we were able to park outside our room which was great. Everything was clean and worked: TV, good internet, coffee maker, mii fridge, microwave etc. Quiet sleep. Great breakfast in the morning of omelets, sausage, bread products, yogurt, waffles, coffee/tea/juice/milk (etc) The lobby had beer and wine available for purchase in the afternoon/evening which was great as we did not want to get out into that traffic again. On a regular weekday in March 2024 our room was about $75 after taxes

Pleasantly surprised. This is not a fancy motel, but it was very clean. The walls looked freshly painted, the carpet was either new or cleaned, the bathroom was literally sparkling. None of the surfaces I touched felt sticky. There were no weird or odd spells. The room didn't spell like bleach. The room was clean and fresh. I like that all the linen was white, it was easy to inspect. I did not find any stains. I stayed in room 306 facing the street. I could hear some traffic, but it was very faint. I fell asleep right away, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good. The Inn is a couple blocks from the Biltmore. The price was very reasonable and I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely enraged. Stayed for 2 nights made sure the room was spotless . Put all towels up. Cleaned etc. only TO BE CHARGED $250 for “ room damage” . I honestly feel like this is a targeted attack or they are scamming their customers. My room was in no way “damaged” . And if it was damaged why would you not list what was actually damaged? I am hoping this is an error on their end as I am extremely frustrated and will be going to a higher up. * UPDATE*

I never received a call from hotel manager so I reached out to Milan hotel group of asheville. I was contacted the next day by a Gentlemen by the name of Robbie who was not allowed to provide a last name . He stated hey so they found urine in your bed and had to clean it. I stated urine in my bed??? You got to be kidding me I’m 34 years old and was by myself I did not pee in the bed, is this a joke ? He states he will be personally going to the hotel tomorrow to check and review just to make sure everything is correct and will reach back out the next day. The next day comes and I don’t get a call , an email, voicemail, nothing! So I reached back out regarding the number that he called from. I stated hey I was expecting a call back or a follow up, he states “ you’re just going to have to follow up with your bank and dispute it with them”. I stated what do you mean ? Did you find out if it was the wrong room, was it a mistake, like what’s the deal? He said they verified it was the right room and it was a clear substance in bed. I said pee is usually yellow and what do you mean a clear substance? Water ? I’m confused what do you mean, I don’t sleep in a wet bed. Do you have any pics or videos , you guys have to have the wrong room? “ look man I’m busy at the moment you’re just going to have to dispute it with your bank and if your right they will reimburse” line was terminated. Called back 4x no answer , called again and my number is blocked. I left a voicemail stating that I am filing a complaint and seeking legal action. This is discrimination and I am being racially profiled which is unacceptable and totally DISGUSTING. From the reviews it looks like this place has a history of charging their customers “damage fees” and pocketing the $250. A cash grab or some sort of scam that they are running. I have filed a complaint with the btter business bureau and the North Carolina department of justice regarding this matter . I am also looking to file a police complaint as well. If I could give this place -100 stars I would. I would not recommend anybody stay at this hotel and it’s needs to be shut down and...

Everything thing was fine with the place, yet on my last day I had to print out some paperwork, there were two women behind the desk. Both of older age one with long hair and one with super short grey hair. Anyway, so I had to send them to the Clarion email, to be printed. In Asheville, locals apparently aren't aloud to stay at the hotels. The paperwork I was printing was personal to me, yet the super short haired woman. I really wish I could remember her name. But it seems she was reading my paperwork and then started to ask me questions about where I lived. I live in TN yet, I am making plans to move out to Asheville. I answered her question telling her my address. I even touched on the subject about how One day I might be moving out there. She then proceeds to tell me that I shouldn't have been allowed to stay because of my future plans of moving there and saying I was a local. I planned to stay a couple more days because I was trying to finalize my personal business out there. I believe now that I think about it. She was the manger. I was appalled at her response and just told her I was going to check out. I felt humiliated, I was already there for a few days already and yet I was told to leave, just because I shared something I had planned in the future, and the fact she read my personal business, just showed me that anything probably sent to them to be printed, they read. An also the fact that I live in Tennessee, and being told to leave because of future plans which apparently made me a local, made the experience very uncomfortable and disturbing. I believe she should be reprimanded in someway but I'm sure that won't happen. If that didn't happen the score would have been higher. I also know these reviews affect bonuses and compensation. So I'm glad I won't be contributing to that either. I suggest this be looked at because a manager making assumptions off of someone being polite and the fact she was reading my personal stuff is unnerving because, what else could she be doing? Also there were kids apparently working with their parents there. The house keepers mainly. I couldn't find a employee to let them know I was leaving after hearing the managers statement and a teenager walked up and asked if I checked out. I recognized him cause he was walking with a housekeeper checking rooms. So child labor? Do not recommend...

I’ll start with the pros before diving into the reason I’m leaving a review

Pros. Room was clean and nice and the guy with the glasses that works the front desk is sweet

Cons. Everything else . Especially Kasi Mintz or should I say “Kasi last name M “which was her response when I asked for her name to report her to corporate. She even had the nerve to tell me there was nobody higher than her I can speak with which of course was a lie !

They tried to charged me and additional 250$ for a smoking fee that they unlawfully could NOT prove . They said because my husband “smelled” like weed is why we were charged. I nicely asked her to show me where in the policy it says you will be charged for SMELLING a certain way or does the policy say smoke free and you cannot SMOKE which he did not. I continued to tell her we had our child in the room and that was given proof that he wouldn’t have smoked in the room they did not have proof of anything being left that lead to signs of smoking or no smoke alarm being triggered. She was very one sided on her decision and said oh since you didn’t have 250 on your card we were able to get 50 and that’s all we will charge. Jokes on them though that I have an AMAZING bank that will get this situation handled and has heard of hotels charging smoke fee with no proof for extra money !!! And

Also we had a late checkout and only stayed 1 day and the room ladies went into our room at 10:50 because “ they thought we were done” which is also illegal if our checkout was down for 12 but again that’s something else that they didn’t even apologize for or address all Kasi with a M said was “they thought he was done” no sympathy just misguided behavior. She lied about it being no one I could talk to over her because she knew it was wrong ! Luckily I am handling this situation else where and speaking with the person who she tried to avoid me finding.

Many of people “smell” different ways that is not enough proof to start charging cards !! That’s very bias and judgmental lord forbid you smell like dirt from working on a trash site all day and they think it’s a smell of weed boom they will CHARGE YOU !!! so be aware especially...
