Not my kind of burger, but if you like a homemade burger, you'll like these. The patty is thick and shaped like a hockey puck - I didn't realize that when I ordered a double patty. There's no way to eat this without taking it apart, which is what I ended up doing. The bun was fine but dry and needed more than just mustard. The mustard didn't go with the quick pickle onions, the onions didn't go with the cheddar. Eating it all in pieces, the best part of the burger was the cheese tulle, and that was just shy of being scorched. Disappointed for $12+tip&tax.

Such a fun place in the River Arts District. We went to check out the antiques warehouse and came across this food truck. We decided to have a snack and it was great! The Mushroom Swiss burger was awesome. Fries could have been better, they were kind of clumped together and maybe overcooked. Sitting outdoor with drinks from Wedge Brewing and watching trains come and go is perfect on a nice Asheville day. I am sure we will be back!

I ordered a burger and fries, totaling over $20 with tip. I ordered American cheese and received cheddar. There was a puddle of liquid from the sauce (but much more of a liquid consistency than saucy) around the bottom of the bun making it totally soggy and it fell apart upon first bite. Also, the middle was raw on one of the patties and as you can see the outside was barely gray. Not worth the money. I won’t be returning.

If you just want a tasty and quick burger or hot dog, the Chop Shop Food Truck -- associated with the Chop Shop Butchery on Charlotte Street -- is a good choice. The food truck is parked sort of at the back of the Wedge Brewing and near 12 Bones on Foundy Street in the River Arts District.

The Classic Cheeseburger is probably the way to go here (a single, big enough for most appetites, is $8). It's a nice portion of custom ground Apple Brandy beef with American cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles and tomato (though when we were there they were out of tomatoes) on a toasted brioche bun. A large order of waffle fries is $5. They also serve a few versions of hot dogs, a falalfel sandwich -- not our favorite item on the menu -- and a few other things. Prep is usually quick, and you can get a beer at the Wedge and eat at one of the...

I had the Falafel sandwich. Out of dozens upon dozens of food trucks and street food venders across several continents, this landed in my Top 3 ever. The combination of texture might be my no.1. Soft bun into the toasted side, into crunchy falafel, crisp pickled onions, the soft and smooth interior of the falafel, silky mayo, softer - secondary crunch of the greens… The flavour was simple, and in that was its genius. The falafel was wonderfully seasoned and the pickled onion cut through and lifted the heaviness of the falafel. The pepperiness of the greens complimented both while the mayo provided a lovely, chili infused, creaminess that helped with the cohesion of all the ingredients. Do yourself a favor and make sure to eat it while it’s still piping hot. 9.8/10 Will eat there every single time I...

Me and my cousin tried this food truck while on vacation. He ordered a burger and would give it a 3.5 out of 5. I ordered a salad and was highly disappointed. It was a head of lettuce cut in half with gyro sauce on it. It wasn't even cut. The knives they have there are plastic, so I struggled to cut it. The salad, once cut, was drenched in sauce, making it almost impossible to eat. I gave the food truck this feedback. The person taking orders gave me a very rude look and told me that next time, I get a salad to ask for it to be cut. The fact that I had to cut my own salad is highly unexceptable. The guy in the food truck was rude and did not take my feedback well. If you go to this food truck, do not ask...
