We ordered a 8 oz. Ribeye dinner and received instead 2 pieces of flank steak. When the order was received we explained it wasn't what we had ordered. The server went to the back and then returned only to tell us they were completely out of rib eye. Instead of informing us when the order was placed or ticketed they served us something completely different without any warning. The other order placed was a California burrito. The meat was tough, the outside of the shell was open on both ends and burnt and the the bell pepper were practically uncooked. The servers were very inpolite towards our situation. Been going here for over two years and until this past Wednesday haven't had an issue. My coworkers and I went for lunch and all got TERRIBLE food poisoning the next day. I called not to ask for a refund or to complain but to simply warn them and make them aware of the situation. The manager was extremely rude and proceeded to tell me to stop calling because I had already called twice about it. I tried to explain that it was my first time calling and that if people had called before me it was legitimately other customers who had also gotten food poisoning. I asked my coworkers if they had called and all said no.. I'm not gonna give my patronage to this establishment anymore. Just wanted to spread awareness since they obviously...

Great food and people. Usually less crowded than La Carreta and with a quieter atmosphere. Lunch buffet is a good deal and has plenty of options, just be sure to get there a bit early to get the freshest items. Menu items are reasonably priced as well - large burritos will run you about $7-$9. Our server was kind and patient, even when we had our toddler with us for dinner, and actually gave us a dessert on the house for the heck of it.

Though it's tucked away in the corner of Gerber shopping center, like rarely used china, it's definitely worth visiting and revisiting if you're in the mood for good Mexican fare, good people, and a relaxing (except during lunch rushes, anyway) atmosphere. Recommend adding to anyone's dining...
