Mama's and Beer — Restaurant in Asheville

I went in today this evening before going to work just wanting something to go through and decided that I wanted to sit at the bar to have an alcohol beverage. While I was waiting on my food that they told me was gonna take about 15 minutes I never got anybody to come to the bar to even asked me if I wanted a beverage. I told the Man that I ordered from that I’d like to go sit at the bar and have a drink while I wait. When I am complaining as I’m leaving after receiving my stating that I’ve been sitting here this entire time I would’ve loved to have a drink, but I guess I can just get ignored to the person that actually came behind the bar sitting there walked away . I have worked and sit down before I never seen somebody ignore somebody so much and generally nine times out of 10 when someone says they want to go sit at the bar while waiting to go, especially when they have a walk a distance to get there through a whole doorway and everything generally they want an alcohol beverage but when I call back to complain as I have already left the restaurant to talk to a manager. I am talking to the person that are acting like they were but for them to say, I told them that I was going to sit at the bar while I waited on my food that I did not say I was going to have a beverage you know that I was going to have a beverage. to get that kind of response is extremely ridiculous regardless if a person was wanting any other service, he should have still asked instead of have you sit there looking around every few minutes like if somebody coming over here is there a person at the bar top just to walk up to me and say your food and me well I guess I don’t want one now and they looking at me like I’m crazy because I sit in the bar with my ID out on the . The person that actually handed me my food, actually had trouble behind the bar like five minutes prior to hand me my food see me sitting there and all with my ID out on the table like how do you miss an ID out there in the dead center in the countertop. That is extremely poor service and very disrespectful to ignore people that are just sitting there. so from my recommendation to other people, I would not go to an establishment that ignores me, especially whenever I would like an alcohol beverage while waiting on considering that I’m an adult over...

Just started going there......all I can say is over 3 visits we 3 ordered about 5 different menu items. Best Mexican style food I have had outside of Mexico. The chorizo street taco was loaded with flavorful meat, not at all greasy. Pollo Loco enchilada ( mushroom spinach chicken.cheese cilantro covered with white sauce) was outstanding. Same for tamale, Chile relleno with a special spicy sauce, shrimp cocktail all excellent. The server took our order verbally, with a couple special requests, wrote nothing down and everything came out correctly. Impressive. Very fair prices for the quality and quantity. Worst experience. I ordered a burrito with ground beef, rice and white cheese inside only when I get my food I had never had a problem so I didn't check it. I got home to eat and my burrito had beans inside and the white cheese was over the outside of the burrito. I called to ask if it could bring it back to get what I ordered, ground beef, rice, and cheese inside only, I wasn't upset at all. The owner of the establishment said you should of made it clear as to what you wanted, that I would have to repay for my burrito, after the back and forth of all I want it ground beef rice and cheese she finally said fine but this is the last time she does this. How rude I am the customer and my burrito is very simple to do. I don't understand what the big fuss was to make my burrito again. But after her fussing with me I didn't trust to go back I'll eat something else for dinner. She definitely lost me...
