None of us were overly impressed with our food this first visit, but that's not to say we wouldn't go back! The staff was super nice and knowledgeable. The hostess brought our pup a water bowl without being asked which was sweet :) The inside and outside seating was all clean, esthetically pleasing, and at good temperatures. Our food just wasn't WOW despite looking gorgeous and huge portions. My scallops absolutely were WOW- I couldn't believe how perfectly seasoned and cooked they were! And the carrots in the marsala were soft and yummy. But everything else about my pasta and seemingly everyone else's meals was just not quite what we'd expected or more. Everyone (besides the 3yo who dug right in for the record!) ended up adding different things to try to fix the taste of their meal, be it olive oil or seasonings. Lots of food taken home.

My granddaughter and I drove from Sylva to Asheville, specifically to try this restaurant. The Greek appetizers spanakopita and saganaki were out of this world. The spanakopita is not made in-house, but it is perfect- light airy lovely. My granddaughter had Tuscan Chicken, which had a Parmigiano wine sauce- great flavor, the chicken itself was lackluster. I ordered veal Parmigiano, the sauce was too acidic , all chopped tomatoes but nothing that would stick to the spaghetti. The veal was a bit chewy, I would have beat it thinner to break up the meat fibers. This is a more rustic type of sauce. There was good flavor. We can't wait to return and try their pizza, which looked great. Our server, Oscar was extraordinary! He is 5 stars! Very professional, knows the food and his way around a dining room, likely a kitchen too.

Very neat fusion of Italian and Greek foods. The chicken I had was delicious! Really enjoyed the flavor profile the olives and red peppers brought to it. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the mashed potatoes. It takes a lot for me to hate mashed potatoes but these tasted like instant and were cold on the bottom. I salted the crud out of them and made it slightly better. They were just very bland and watery tasting and for a $20 dish i was disappointed. My partner ordered Sausage ravioli and it was okay. Just tasted a bit old. The food is NOT terrible, just for the price point I dont believe is worth it. Presentation is great though and servers were really nice!

my horrible experience is not from tunnel road location, rather the long shoals rd location.

Went for dinner with my kids and wife after receiving a $30 groupon as a gift. My wife ordered the "grilled Cesar salad appetizer - please leave out the anchovy fillets" and then i ordered a large pizza for us to all share. I was asked "traditional or wheat crust" and replied "traditional".

The salad same out on a small tea plate. it was not grilled and was about 1 cup total. It was obvious the wrong salad came out. being my wife is a grilled salad girl, she was not interested in eating their mistake and left it untouched. She was asked if there was something wrong with it to which she responded it was not what she ordered. She explained she wanted the grilled version of the salad. The waitress replied "i heard you say side salad". This is a bizarre reply, as the side salad does not come grilled or with anchovies, which was directly mentioned when ordering. Salad was taken off the table and a replacement was to come.

But first our pizza came out! I instantly noticed the very dark brown wheat looking crust. While i do try to eat healthy, i have a hard time with wheat pizza and pasta. I tried a piece and gave each of my kids a piece. Non of us ate it! The waitress asked if there was a problem with the pizza. I replied "its not what we ordered". She took a look at it and admitted she accidentally entered wheat instead of traditional and apologized. She seemed to want to leave it with a simple apology and expected us to eat it anyway. I told her we would not eat it she told me she would go back to the kitchen and get that replaced. At this point we have been here well over an hour and my 2 year and 4 year old ticking time bombs are not only hungry, but pent up... We did not have much choice so waited for the next round. The pizza finally came and it was decent. Needless to say i wont come back due to the experience, but even if it was a great one, i still would not go back for their pizza.

Its not over, then the check came! We were not expecting a discount due to them screwing up our entire families food and making us wait almost 2 hours to eat, BUT, the $30 groupon was reduced to $15 and nothing was mentioned to us. When confronted they said it expired a few days ago so only gave us half credit. In all honesty, we had no idea it expired as we received it about 3 months prior and did not think to read the fine print. Regardless, it was very disappointing they A) did not honor it being it only expired 2 days earlier and considering the rest of the night the screwed up bad! and B) they did not mention to our face they would only honor half of it.

I can say they probably have the best bread in Asheville. But thats all i can say about them. We will never consider stepping foot in this place and hope to god this poor waitress finds her true calling as waiting...

WTF is wrong with people rating this a 5 star place to eat, they obviously don't get out much and are very food deprived. First of all I don't know how this place can even call its self a "Greek" restaurant there is NOTHING Greek on the menu and the entire menu consists of maybe 10 main dishes so it literally takes about 30 seconds to pick out what you want. The prices are ridiculous. For 2 people to eat it was $40 and we got the cheapest things on the menu. If you add chicken to anything it is an extra $4.50 add $7.50 for veal and it keeps climbing. I got the chicken masala and ten minutes after ordering and me drinking an entire drink I was wondering if we were going to get bread or a salad or ANYTHING what time we waited on the food to come out. Eventually the waitress came out with 2 rolls, one for the each of us and a small plate with olive oil in it. It was just plain bread there was absolutely no flavor and nothing to it.. it was so hard that just tearing a bite off was near impossible..it was almost like it had gotten cold and had been re heated that the inside had dried out and this was the first thing that pissed me off. When I went to place the bread back in the basket it came it, on the napkin was a ball of dust and looking even closer at the basket I noticed that the wood looked fuzzy like it was not clean. I became disgusted and started inspecting everything and noticing everything and then I seen the dead bugs on the window seal. I thought it was odd that we were the ONLY ones in the entire restaurant, but then after we had been there close to an hour and no one had yet to come in, I finally realized why. The Chicken Masala was the worst that I have ever had. The Campbell's in the bag with the soups at Wal-Mart is a thousand times better and it's god awful on it's own. The Masala from Pomodoros was definitely NOT fresh, the pasta was not fresh and was mushy like it had been pre cooked and refrigerated and re heated and the mushrooms were so slimy that they were either canned or the sauce had came pre packaged with the mushrooms already in it. The best thing on my plate was the 2 pieces of asparagus that they called a side and I freaking HATE asparagus. If you are going to charge someone their soul please make sure to include a bowl of lettuce or SOMETHING that could classify as food, because what I had today...well I would rather have to eat my own vomit before I EVER attempt to eat here again. Can't believe I actually paid for something I could have found in a toilet for free. The person whom ate with me felt exactly the same...biggest thing they complained about was for this place to call its self a Greek restaurant and not have lamb or gyros or even a Greek salad...then you are NOT a...

It was fathers day and the day our daughter graduated from high school so we went to try somewhere new to celebrate. It started the moment we walked in the door. Hostess asks how many and when we reply with 9 she rolls her eyes and says follow me. We ordered some appetizers, they were good but our dinner, not so much. The Alfredo tasted bland, no real flavor to speak of. Just a thick heavy creamy tasteless blob. Vodka sauce was unlike a sauce but more like a sun dried tomato paste, not like any vodka sauce I have had before. Chicken Piccatta was also bland with no real flavor, and the chicken had a real funny texture. My daughter ended up after a few bites throwing it up in the bathroom. I ordered the sausage peppers and onions and that was quite good. Our desserts, cheese cake and the chocolate amaretto bread pudding both were freezer burnt. Our server, her performance was exceptional but she really did not seem thrilled to be there. I really hate leaving negative reviews but If this was my restaurant I sure would want to know what a new customers experience was like. So if you asked me if we would go back, I would say no probably not.

Edited: Thank you for the response and thank you for pointing out all that I could have done for a better experience. First off when I looked you up on google it said no reservations needed. When we arrived there was no other patrons in the restaurant, we briefly had it all to ourselves. Second, my daughter was embarrassed, she didn’t say anything until we got in the car. She said it wasn’t like the chicken was bad, it just had a funky texture. Third. And I do not stand alone with this . Bland, The food was bland. Flavorless. Not lacking salt or black pepper but spices. You know the talent of a chef. This is not our first rodeo and we know how an Alfredo dish, paccatta or vodka sauce, traditionally tastes. Sorry for the...
