I have gone to this establishment twice first time I got cut off for drinking to much. Which I had, but not the details they said I did . Second time was tonight, same woman. Do not know her name but she has been there for a while. Yes I have been drinking, bit I had multiple witness, saying I did nothing wrong, and she cut me off , even with no argument from me, she had security walk me out . Remind you I wanted to pay my bill. The closed check was presented to me outside $ 91 worth of course and I Gabe no tip. Why would I tip with no justification of me being cut off.I Even had a friend who was driving me home, but I had to wait for him outside. Trust me when I tell you I frequent Buffalo Wild Wings more than the social and they have never felt the need to cut me off . I had come to the social to shot pool, sing karaoke, etc. but I feel this is personal! If you feel this is fine and no further action is needed. I am fine with that. But you will NEVER get my business nor my friends and people I know business ever again! Which in this case I invited them because of the environment I thought they would enjoy with pool tables etc.Trust me you are not the only bar in town That has karaoke, pool tables and a place to play darts. Realize this is me sending a review after being cut off from the social at 1:34am. Food was great. People I met there were great except the one women behind the bar. Who new me from before. Just to let you know a lot of people in Asheville. They like me. I am not the person the social bartender, women, portrait me as. Ask the bartender’s at Buffalo Wild Wings how I tip? Where I go all the time. 4.-5 days a week. I wait there is a bad review.😉 once again at the social it is personal. Why I don’t know. Fix it! But even if you do I won’t be back nor will anyone who asks me about a bar to go to while they...
Read morePopped in to order food to go and ended up grabbing a drink while I was waiting. Definitely a hole in the wall vibe that looks to be the spot for locals. Everyone seemed friendly and laid back. I was immediately greeted when I walked in by a very lively waitress. There was karaoke on at the time, mainly country songs if that's your thing. Outside front patio seating area and the pool tables were popular.
Food took a bit to come out, but from the looks of it, there was only one cook in the kitchen. Tatchos left a little to be desired. The "chili" seemed to be just about 10 lonely kidney beans - no meat or sauce to speak of. The chopped onions were comically large. The MacDaddy patty was cooked to order as I liked. Unfortunately, it barely had any sauce and was the chopped lettuce was entirely missing. Again, the chopped onions and pickles were very generous in size.
Overall, it's your basic bar with basic food. Don't come here expecting bougie cocktails and a gourmet meal. It shines in the "social" aspect well. Very inviting environment and clientele to...
Read moreTonight was the worst night I have EVER had at this bar! First off I've been a patron of this bar since John Norton being he was our neighbor and we can just walk across the street. I have seen owners come and go... Yet Ive never experienced the out right physical and racist disrespect... First the so call security yelled at us that we were deaf because he said last call... Then told me to get me and my non English speaking friends out... When I stopped to let him know now he was wrong he pysically pushed me... Of course now he was causing confrontation... When I asked the bartender if this is what this bar had become... He said awwwwww he's ok..... Well I'm making a formal complaint in the morning with the owners and then a complaint of racist intmidation with ALE... Because by law he was not allowed to take the drink I paid for and physically push me out... Either that or I want our money back for...
