Service was fast and pleasant. I got a hot fudge cake sundae which started at 7.25 and added wet walnuts. Somehow that came to over $10 with tax. Of course like everywhere else you are asked to tip before you have been provided any service to tip for, I tipped a dollar so as not to feel like a jerk. I watched as an inch or more of hot fudge was ladled into the bottom of the small cup to start. I'm already wondering where any other ingredients are supposed to fit. Then when it was handed out to me I cursed already at how overfull it was. I'm left standing there with wet walnut syrup and hot fudge streaming out of the cup immediately while the wind blew it all over my shirt. I tried to get in my car but realized it was only getting worse and starting to run all over my hand. In less than 30 seconds I went from happily stopping for a sundae to being covered in a huge sticky mess. I just short circuited and quickly threw it away. I was so upset I just left. Almost $12 down the drain and I will probably have to throw away my shirt. I literally will never go back after that experience. I guess that summer...

This is sad because my husband has enjoyed coming here since the 1980s as a child. Two nights ago I went to get ice cream and there was a Latina mom and family in front of us in line. When they took their ice cream to their car, I noticed the girls working giving them condescending stares and also "shared" those condescending stares with the next customers who were also rudely staring at the Latina family for no apparent reason I could observe, other than they were not white and/or not speaking English at that very moment. It felt very uncomfortable and I finally felt like wow, this is the south and racism is still alive and well. So yeah, very uncomfortable and not sure I'll be back unless management addresses this with the women...

Stood in line for 20 mins starting at 9:20. We get to the window to order at 9:40 (the store closes at 10pm). The girls running the place had their friends in line in front of us and told them to “get out line and they’ll bring their ice cream around to them”. After they brought their friends ice cream out, they shut off all the lights. They then proceeded to tell everyone in line who had been waiting a long time, that “they’re closed”. When we mentioned it’s only 9:40, we just got told repeatedly that they’re closed. I love to support local small business, but I won’t be coming back here after...
