First, this little shop is a little difficult to find. Look for the big sign in the parking lot that says Lancaster Mall. This little shop is tucked into a strip mall right next to the Mexican restaurant. Look for the cake graphics on the windows.

Second, these slices are friggen huge. There is no single bite that hits all layers. These slices are COMMITMENTS and we'll worth the $8 price tag.

I ordered the Chocolate Express and Red Velvet Chocolate. The chocolate is your standard death by chocolate, which means it's delicious. No notes.

The red velvet is like a cheesecake and those strawberry shortcake ice cream bars the ice cream man sold had a beautiful baby. That was the standout winner. It's got some kind of shaggy coating, cream cheese frosting, and a full layer of cheesecake (is my guess). It's phenomenal.

I got a chocolate cupcake yesterday. First time at this bakery. I was very disappointed with the taste and texture. I assume that they were going to be made with some quality ingredients like real butter. I ended up spending $4 including a tip for this small cupcake that had a list of disappointing ingredients. The worst of them being partially hydrogenated oil (trans fats). Also for this price I would expect the cupcake to be freshly baked but it tasted it as if it was sitting in the bakery case for a couple days. I spoke with the owner before writing this review and they refused to refund me unless i drive all the way back across town with the $3 cupcake. I really wanted to like this place since they are local and I’m all about shopping local. However the cupcakes are so tiny! For 3$ I expect a huge cupcake that’s moist and has delicious icing. I got neither of these. We tried 3 different flavors and none were even close to good. The “Caramel” one didn’t taste of any Caramel instead the icing tasted like eating a full handful of table salt. It was so bad. My husband and I both looked at each other at the same time in disgust.
