The Great Hall Bar — Restaurant in Asheville

The service was non existent. A beautiful place. I am a local and really disappointed as I would like to have a place I can go for some dinner and drinks on a regular basis . I ordered some drinks at the bar and then ordered some food and asked where I was seated. After 45 minutes of no food, I went up to the bar to asked what happened to my food to be told that I would have to come to the bar for my food. All the while, the staff is putting tickets under my nose for service tips. Really not an enjoyable experience and expensive as well. ...

This is all about the views! We hoped for a nice sunset on the terrace as we sipped cocktails but it wasn’t to be. It’s still beautiful even on a gray day and the terrace is heated. We chose to stay inside in some comfy chairs with high backs and relax. Nick poured us some drinks that were just right - the Botanical Crush and the Rum Chai.
