Bluejays Ice Cream & Candy — Restaurant in Ashland

I stopped in this afternoon on my drive home from Omaha. After following their Facebook page for some time and seeing others post about it - I was excited to try it for myself!

As an optimists who’s often let down after buying into “the hype”, I was overly impressed by the entire experience. I say experience, because it really felt like the whole environment was thoughtfully designed and connected from the minute I walked in to the moment I checked out with one of the best ice cream flavors I’ve ever had. No exaggeration - I texted my wife with the mind exploding emoji while I was enjoying my waffle cone with the Caramel Cheesecake Cookie Monster flavor - it’s really that good. 🤯☺️ (and don’t worry, I took a flight to-go for her and the kids to try!)

They absolutely nailed the vibe, too. The branding and design of the space matched with the music and buzz of the other guests - making it feel like an old timey ice cream parlor made for our era. The worst part was picking a flavor but the team at Bluejays had great recommendations and everyone seemed like they were genuinely excited to be there and happy to help!!

Stopped in after having dinner up the street at a local restaurant. There was a good variety of flavors, including some allergy-friendly options. Absolutely fabulous! We stopped here after spending the day at the Henry Doorley Zoo and it was perfection. We tried so many different flavors(soooo many options!) with a final four, cones, and dishes. The staff was exceptional as well. We are already excited to go back.
