My family and myself went to the Ashland Buffalo Wild Wings to eat this evening. We placed our order knowing that it would take a while because we like our wings extra krispy. It usually takes 22 minutes to cook them. Knowing how busy they were we knew it may take a little longer then 22 minutes. We also ordered a meal for my son because he don’t like wings and we ordered separate wings for my daughter. We also ordered a appitezer as well.
First our appetizer never came out. When our food came out our wings were cold. My sons cheeseburger was cold and my daughters wings were cold. We asked to talk to the manager.
When the manager came to our table she said that the Waitress didn’t even put in our appetizer as a order and that she would put the order in immediately. She looked over at my daughter mind you we have been at BWW for over an hour at this point so her and my son were both hungry. The manager told us that she wasn’t taking it off because she was eating it. Then she said that she was going to comp the entire meal however she didn’t do that. The manager left the table to put us on some VIP list and when she came back out she apologized and said that someone had dropped our appetizer and asked if we wanted her to go back and make one. At this point we said no. The manager said that she would bring the bill and have out Waitress Cash us out. I asked for the manager to cash us out because the amount of time we had been there and my wife having to go to work.
At this point I’m very upset because my dinner was ruined because someone didn’t do their job and who ever’s responsibility it was to bring our food out on time and the waitress not putting our food order in until a half in hour after we gave her our order is very upsetting. The only reason we know that our food was a half in hour late being put in is because the manager told us. And I was thinking that if it takes 22 minutes to cook the wings why would they be so cold. So I figured the manager...
Read moreAfter a long day working in Toledo and Sandusky, I decided to order bogo boneless wings for my family instead of cooking. I placed my order at 6PM before leaving Sandusky asking that my order be ready for pick up at 7:10. I then drove to Ashland expecting to walk in, grab my meal, and leave. Nope! There were 15 people in line for pick up orders. Only one employee was helping get the to go orders. She moved slower than my grandpa with a broken leg. I understand getting behind. I also understand being short staffed. What I don't understand is why at one point there were five waitresses in the kitchen standing around, doing nothing, and giggling. Not cool. If you're going to have bogo you need to staff your kitchen accordingly. You need staff that can pick up the pace and pitch in wherever help is needed. Also if you're getting behind , either let your customers know they'll be waiting 2 hours. Or stop taking online orders. I cancelled my order and won't try that again. The manager on duty was obviously overwhelmed and not meant for leadership. She did nothing to help the situation. You don't allow several guests cancel their orders and leave empty handed after waiting 90minutes. We should have been offered a rain check on our bogo. Instead I was told..."I think they just give you back the money" when I cancelled my paid for order. Ashland BWs on a Thursday gets a big NO THANK YOU...
Read moreThis experience at the ashland bw3 was great because of A man named Allen! My family of 6 was sat in the front with a 15 minute wait from and awful host with a lot of unnecessary awful customer service. There were tables open tables to be bussed and she simply stood there leaned against the counter with awlful looks at my children and i up and down. I asked her name for the review and she ignored me and I had to get her name from my waitress Melissa (Mel). Host name was lexi or Alexa BUT THE MAN IN BLACK UNIFORM NAMED Allen!!! This guy came from the back noticed us from the kitchen window in the back.came all the way out asked the host WHy we weren't seated and she threw him attitude and was made to realize how lazy she was which I will say was greatly needed just by him showing great customer service to us and how easy it was to do. Then ALLEN greeted us rushed a table clean up to sit us and even got our menus it's ashame he isn't a manager or a lead because he truly has the ability to give the best customer service and watched him do not just his job but team played and helped with bussing greeting and I just hope he is recognized. All in all our waitress was great even being slamed and the food was...
