Well I used to enjoy taking trips to this establishment, that was until just about a month ago. That is when things started to get bad, and only went south from there
If you don’t know me, my name is Brad Waurus. I am a very highly respected plant manager of a automotive based metal casting plant. I have been very successful in my career up to this point. I own multiple homes across the country, and my job requires a mass amount of travel so a lot of time is spent on the road and at establishments such as this one.
Back to the original point, my first encounter of issue with this store was about a month ago while visiting with some fellow colleagues. At the time, the three of us placed an order, and my order simply consisted of a plain coffee and one single donut. Well, what happened was my good friend Chase Bailey received his complete order first, no issues. My other colleague then received his order as well, no issues there either. I found this quite strange, as I had ordered first before the either of them, but no matter, so I accepted the moment and waited patiently. After a few minutes I was given my coffee, which was good and exactly how I ordered it. HOWEVER, I still had not received my donut with my order. I proceeded to stand and wait for at least 15 minutes while the workers called upon their cosmic powers to somehow mess up my order of the 2 most basic items on the menu, neither of which require any skill to make. The only work that needed be preformed here was to pick up a donut and hand it over the counter, which took about 25 minutes and me asking 2 times for it to happen, and when I did ask the lady seemed very offended by the question. Me and my colleagues proceeded to have a discussion about the incident while inside the store.
Well, fast forward a week and I visit the location again and place the exact same order as before, and lo and behold, the cosmic powers of the service workers to not give me my donut seemed to fall into place again. In fact, this time it was so bad that I actually left the location and did not even get my donut at all. (To this day I still haven’t gotten it). I was EXTREMELY bothered by this as I was very much looking forward to enjoying a donut on this day. But I guess it was not meant to happen.
After 2 abysmal experiences here, I was EXTREMELY hesitant to visit again, but alas I prayed to God and I did exactly that. This time, again, I ordered the same 2 extremely basic items off the menu. Well me and my colleague (Jordan Martin) ordered the same coffee, and for some reason my clip was about 3/4” taller than his, which I found very strange. I went to take a sip of my beverage, and when I tell you that the depths of the underworld could not describe the pain in my brain I felt when I tasted that god awful liquid inside the cup, I mean exactly that. I still do not know what was inside that cup but I have a strong presumption it was made with the exact milk that was brewed in the locker room of Mr Meltons fall semester gym class of 2019. In fact, it was so bad that I drove to Tim hortons down the road, ordered a new coffee, and left the questionable liquid from dunkin on a table inside of the Tim hortons lobby, on full display. I also told the tim hortons service worker about my terrible experience, which he documented.
It is very likely that I will never return to this location. The only foreseeable circumstances in the near future I could see myself returning is upon the presence of a 4 (actually 3) lug vehicle in the parking lot. But aside from that, from this day forward I will exclusively go to the tim hortons slightly down the road as a replacement. Thank you all for taking the time to read my review, I hope this store receives the karma they deserve for their thievery (I have lost at least $15 in wasted...
Read moreIt seems as though every time I go through the drive-thru there, they never have the donuts(chocolate frosted, pretty usual kind of donut)that I ask for or even whatever my second choice might be, I usually end up leaving aggravated with just a coffee. That's why I usually only go there maybe three or four times a year. You would think that good management would see that when they are getting ready to run out, they might be inclined to start another batch, but nah. Sorta odd that you can usually get whatever donuts you want all day long at a grocery store bakery, but not an actual national donut shop chain that actually has "donuts" in the name. Today buy some stroke of luck, I was actually able to get the chocolate frosted donuts that I wanted but after I was on 71 and opened the bag both of the donuts had one side(on the frosted side) that had no frosting on them whatsoever. It was so obvious that I find it hard to believe that the person who made them missed it and the person who bagged them missed it and couldn't see that there was a semi- circle of bare un-frosted donut. I would say that they need to train that person on how to dip the donuts in the frosting, but I'm pretty sure it's just a case of not one but at least two or three people who really don't care about what they are doing and this includes the manager. So between this and the fact that they never have the donuts I want to order and being on the highway and not able to go back, I decided to call the manager and let her know about about the lack of frosting on a "frosted" donut, however; I didn't get the impression the manager was too concerned about it, nor did she ever offer to rectify it, so I'll just leave this...
Read moreI'm giving 3 stars only because when my coffee is made correct I enjoy it. I ask for light espresso an half the time I get a ton of espresso. Or it won't be full to the top like they can't fill the cup up if I ask for light espresso, if I paid for a large I'd expect my large to be full. The drive thru workers are rude at the speaker (go ahead) is typically what I get before ordering, at the window I get my card pulled from my hand an my drink handed out to me like they are mad. Inside the store is worse! I got ignored for 15 minutes by the dinning room cashier who would rather talk to her boyfriend an give him a box of free donuts then wait on me. And I didn't appreciate her boyfriend turning around to tell me to use the self ordering instead! And when he finally did leave she STILL didn't help me! Another girl walked over an apologized an took my order! My favorite was when the girl at the window turned around and began mocking me because I asked her to remake my drink as it was clearly full of the espresso I had asked to be light, I'm not paying for a coffee I won't drink, I will continue to have them remade. I'm not sure who trains these people on customer service & basic kindness but it is severely, severely lacking! I hope that no one else has to experience what I have. It costs...
