Gabriele's German Sweets — Restaurant in Ashland

On February 7, 2018, I placed an order for 3 each of all the handmade German cookies as a Valentine's day present for my husband. He loved all of them, although he did tell me his #1 favorite, so next time I will order more of his #1 favorite handmade German cookies! The cookies arrived quickly by USPS and they were very well packed with lots of bubble-wrap. All the cookies arrived in great condition and they were very fresh and absolutely delicious! I placed a 2nd order for 3 each of all the handmade German cookies for my granddaughter and her family (who used to live in Germany) as a Valentine's day present. My granddaughter and her family were so happy when they received the delicious handmade German cookies at their home in New Mexico they called us right away to thank us. These German cookies brought back a lot of precious memories from my childhood when my mother would bake them for us at Christmas and other special occasions, and I'm sure my granddaughter was also happy remembering these types of cookies from when she grew up in Germany as well. Whether you have any German connections in your family or not, these cookies are crisp, light, beautiful and absolutely scrumptious! We tried 3 other chocolate shops on our trip prior to this one - we thought they were all equally good. We almost didn't get chocolates here because we'd been eating a lot of chocolate. Boy, would that have been the biggest mistake. After trying Gabriele's, it made those other 3 shops' chocolate taste immediately subpar and like we shouldn't have even bothered. I just received my package that I ordered from her incredible website. I’m not really suppose to eat sweets but my mother whom was German made maybe 50 wonderful things at Christmas !! So I was always want to indulge because it’s not Christmas without the wonderful sweets. I’m not living upnorth anymore and ordered!
