We are regular customers at this location and we usually order for delivery. The last two times we ordered and received subs they were not wrapped securely and both were a huge mess. We had to reassemble our sandwiches when we opened the paper surrounding them. They looked like they were just thrown together and thrown in the bag. This time we chose to go in and order to see if it made a difference. It did as far as assembly goes. I was upcharged for gf bread on both even though neither of us can eat anything with gluten. I was told that it wasn't an allergy but a preference because my "allergy" wasn't the same as the usual allergy most know about. However, it is. I don't appreciate being harassed for my health limitations that my spouse and I both have. I also requested bacon on mine when I ordered. I had to tell the person making them to again add bacon. I was also forced to check out before the sandwiches were even made and the cashier didn't ring in the bacon. I had to do another transaction to pay for the bacon. Good thing I had cash. The customer should never have to have two or more transactions of money exchange when the mistake wasn't on the customer. I paid cash for the bacon addition. Don't blame the customer for lack of communication among staff. At this point I'm willing to drive further for the customer service and care that one should expect to have normally....
Read moreIt's s new location so they are still working thru things. My opinon, don't go there if you are in a hurry and if you used your app to order thinking it would be ready on time, think again. I showed up 15 minutes after my order and on time to pick my sandwich up... there were 2 people in line, 1 person waiting for their order, but after waiting another 15 minutes, I realized I could have stood in line, ordered and got my order faster because 3 people (after the 2 that were already in line) got their sandwiches before mine was made. I seen 5 people working and their assembly line process was held up because the guy slicing the meat was more into his joking (not training) conversation. Unfortunately if I were to pick out the person in charge, I'm sure he was it...so I don't see them improving anytime soon. I don't like comparing different Jersey Mike's franchises but I think they would learn a ton watching the North Olmsted location. Looking forward to when this one gets more time and training because it is by far one of the better places to eat. (Just not at that location). Sorry for the 3 star rating but you need work....and you...
Read moreWe will give them another chance after awhile. Two subs took over 20 minutes during dinner time on a Sunday. The subs tasted ok. The most irritating thing was the three young people in the front of the restaurant doing nothing while the other people were working their tails off. Standing around talking. Tables needed cleaned and floor needed swept. I took a piece of trash from the drink area and put it on the counter so they could throw it away and they just looked at it. All three went into the back and one of the men working there had to tell them to go back up front where they stood and did more of nothing. It seemed one girl was there to just write on the bag and she didn’t even do that efficiently. The man working the grill asked her for something and the other girl got it for her to walk it over to him while my sub is still laying on the counter. There was no sense of urgency from them at all and no sense of self awareness of what needed to be done. Don’t know if they weren’t trained or just didn’t care or just there to socialize. I was frustrated so I can’t imagine what the ones working hard...
