We were extremely excited to host our wedding at the VFW with Marconi's last year in 2020. However unfortunately COVID hit making us postpone our wedding. While we talked with them right before this postponedment and they ensured us we would be taken care of. They instead completely ghosted us. They wouldn't answer and calls, texts, or emails. This not only resulted in us losing our deposits but caused us to have to search elsewhere and find a more accommodating venue. Nice people, very hospitable, jukebox, Sunday afternoon meat shots and other function with a function room, roomy, so downstairs is free for a small get together for no cost. This place supports and hosts events where women are escorted out of the building and only allowed to serve the food. Had a purchased ticket at a private event; not advertised anywhere that females weren't allowed. Hosting this kind of event is condoning...
