I recently purchased a small home about 20 minutes out of Ashland This last Friday I drove into town for the 1st time I did a search for restaurants and drove by this one As I passed it was impossible to miss the harp player.

The experience really was hard to top
Unassuming little 2nd street Bistro Is a top shelf restaurant The service was heart felt and energetic The harp playing ..by John....was perfection The meal felt like ....a neck massage and a foot massage meets ...fine dining The chops and veggies were exquisite The chowder was electric The choice of local beer. Made for me....upon request.....perfect
The desert....again Unexpectedly Devine
I don't recall a finer dining experience ever Which says a lot if you knew how much a value such or seek it out

A very tender cut of steak, with crumbled blue cheese, grilled onions and peppers (not a green pepper to be found in the mix); served with a lightly-horseradished dressing on the side (which my husband slathered on), and tender pickled onion slivers (which he also utilized). Top notch. My crab cakes were also excellent, served with mixed greens and a fabulous chopped fresh tomato-pepper-zucchini blend. ...
