Capo's Pizza III — Restaurant in Ashtabula

No delivery. The Grinder we ordered was very good, one of the better subs I've gotten from a pizza place. We also ordered the appetizer sampler but didn't want 2 different items due to food sensitivities. I was told their sampler is already mixed together so I couldn't modify. It wasn't going to be a big deal, I would have picked something else but then I was told they can just pick out what I don't want. That was fine with me so I ordered that. When I returned to my Airbnb I realized that with the sampler I received 1 of most items and 2 of others, plus there was shrimp in there which according to the menu should not have been in there. That was a rather unwelcomed surprise. I don't quite understand how you have sell each appetizer separate but then have a sampler you can't really modify. I figured when someone ordered a sampler they just took like 3 of each item, fried them up, put them together and that was it. My personal preference would be if the sampler was "pick 5 appetizers" or something along those lines. I understand there's probably more at play here and they can't do that.

Alright so here’s the deal this place has the formula for greatness here in Bula but what they need is some attention to detail. 90% of eating is how it looks, from gas station food to fine dining. I plead with the owner of this place to take his time and make a GREAT looking pizza. The crust, sauce, cheese, and meats were all there they just needed to be tied together formally.. cause what I got at Capo’s on the 23 of May was pretty ugly to say the least you had pockets of exposed sauce with no meat or cheese covering it and cheese on more slices than others. no matter how swamped you guys may be if you take the time to make a pizza that not only tastes great and looks the part too- then you’ll be set. Wings were perfect, crispy and crunchy although they were swimming in a pool of sauce which was a bit much for me but I look past that I won’t knock’em for that. Price is very very reasonable I was able to get 2 drinks 1 medium pizza and 10 wings for about 20$ which isn’t bad in my book. Ashtabula has a wild side!! Upon tasting these wings your taste buds will never work again because it'll crave nothing else when it comes to the wings category! These wings not only slaps, it's a little orgasm in your mouth good. Excuse the accurate language. I have to say I will end up dumping my money into these wings again and again with how incredible they taste. It leaves me salivating the entire time driving home reviews in a car and still salivating while eating them.

They have an early closing time so get them while you can this incredible spot deserves a line outside the door without delicious the food always is. Even my cats are lurking around me whenever I grab Capo's for dinner. The staff is very personable and attentive in a way that makes you feel like they enjoy their jobs which is a rarity in the food industry. This place is the number one wings in Ashtabula hands down.
