Went with my partner through the drive through and ordered the spicy chicken Pretzel Bacon Pub. When we got the bag I opened the sandwich and noticed is wasn’t what we ordered so we went back around the drive through. There was no pretzel bun or crispy onions and the chicken was regular instead of spicy. When we got to the window and explained what was wrong a person who appeared to be at least a supervisor said that they were out of the pretzel buns and crispy onions so they just substituted for the normal bun and there was apparently raw onion instead of the crispy. I understand that service workers go through a lot (I also work in service) but I should have been asked before substitutions were made. I get very sick if I eat raw onion, and there are millions of life threatening food allergies and people with those allergies even if it wasn’t me and my situation. They also took back the first sandwich that my partner said they would eat, which would have been fair since I wasn’t asking for a refund or discount. I ended up getting the sandwich with the regular bun and no onion because based off of the annoyed manners of the employees I was too worried to change my order to chicken nuggets and ask for the price difference to be refunded (as the Pretzel Bacon Pub is one of the more expensive items and I paid in cash). I just urge the management staff to correct this issue because it is a dangerous one. Read moreFirst of all, I have to say as after 5 years of employment of Wendy's years ago at another location. I'd heard some good things about they're breakfast sandwichs and decided to give it a try.
Taste was okay, BUT THE COOK Doused it with an extreme amount of Pepper 🌶 I'm seriously sensitive to any hot type spices. This was a terrible start to my day, as my throat stomach were irritated till after 3pm, and that was after a big dose of Pepti Bismal. There's No Reason for the cook to add that much seasoning, without direction from the customer.
Secondly Iitetally HAD TO SCREAM INTO THE SPEAKER TO PLACE MY ORDER. The employee woman either was hard of hearing. Or the speaker system is malfunctioning, or perhaps her headset isn't working properly. Either way There's NO REASON Had To Tell her at least 8 times , and that's Not An Exaggerstion, I may have had to Sceam more times than that. I kept telling her coffee, and she heard chocolate. Heck it was morning and I was trying to order breakfast, I Had To Repeat that many times as well.
Overall it was the worst experience ever at any fast food establishment.
I Won't ever Return to that location. I may stop at a Wendy's in the future, but never breakfast and never...

First I sat at the drive thru speaker for over 5 minutes, after being told to wait a minute...just wanted to tell them I already placed the order, Its winter had to keep window cracked to hear them when they finally decided to come back. One car ahead of me took another 5-6 minutes , they finally gave them half their order and pulled them off to the side.I got to the window and clerk handed me a drink. waited another 5 minutes and she handed me my order that had been sitting next to her the whole time so the food was cold. this happens every time , should have known better ,will NOT be back!!! Should close this location and start over with a new manager and re -train all staff. It takes a lot of disappointment for me to take time to write a review especially now with Covid but this Wendy's in Ashtabula Ohio has been consistent in doing that time...
