Apparently my family & I came hour before closing which made waitress/owner/whomever?? very upset.. She could of politely said we are closing instead of allowing us to be seated and having rude remarks throughout the experience such as( there were more) walks into the kitchen loudly saying "she pissed me off"(guess cuz I got my own menu), "can't believe you all ate all that food that was a bunch of food"(I had Turkey on bread wit mash potatoes n gravy, my adult oldest had cheeseburger n fry, my two babies ate six silver dollar pancakes, two pc bacon & two eggs between them which all cost wit drinks over $40!! think I was overcharged compared to the menu prices. "those all yours"(referring to three children). Ate so fast because we felt so rushed and unwelcome that I got belly ache. The food was alright what I got to enjoy, we cleaned up our own mess, put the table back to way it was, kept the babies quiet so we weren't a bother, and ate within 20 mins(if you have little ones that's fast lol) so whomever can close up, when you have someone walkn around doing whatever giving you hints they are wanting to get out of there you have no choice, kept thinking to myself should of just left, any normal person wouldn't tolerate this rudeness, this can't be the waitress acting like this must be owner(couldn't get the guts n ask) felt like I'd be rude. Yet I still tipped 😡 I even said when we got seated that I wanted to try this place and went 15 miles out my way so I could. Hopefully whomever was just having an off day and feels bad about treating a family so poorly. I went there because of...

The people saying that the prices for breakfast are "reasonable" must be living a great life. $12 for the absolute smallest omelet I have ever seen. Sausage, cheese, and mushroom omelet. Inside was HALF a piece of a small sausage patty, about 8 small pieces of mushrooms, and not even an entire slice of American cheese. Home fries were good but only a little more than half a small potato worth. If you picked up all the food on the plate and squeezed it in your hand, it would be a size between a baseball and a softball. Had a coffee that didn't get refilled until I was finished. Also ordered the half biscuit and gravy. Store bought gravy and frozen biscuit. The biscuit was like they took a normal sized biscuit, cut it in half, then cut that in half again and that is what you were served. My brother ordered the exact same thing as I did. Our bill was $47 before tip. I understand supporting small local businesses but that is insane. Saw many people order the French toast. Probably should've tried...

We recently moved out here and have been trying to support the local restaurants instead of driving elsewhere. I will say the food is very good, but the service is HORRIBLE and the hours inconsistent. When they say they close at 2, that could mean 12:30, 1...whenever they just don't want to work anymore. We are business owners and #1, put our customers that keep coming back...putting food on our OWN table first and foremost! #2, if you don't want to be open until 2, DON'T put 2pm on your sign! Don't get rude or angry at customers and make customers feel uncomfortable because they come at 1pm and for some odd reason, you have already turned the fryers off that should NOT have been turned off until closer to 2pm...your posted closing time! If you want to keep your business, customer service definitely needs to improve or those that keep your restaurant open will go somewhere they are...

Good, solid diner menu. Lots of different burger toppings. We stopped in for a late lunch. Grilled cheese was perfectly done but appeared to have 1 slice of cheese. Cole slaw had a nice kick. Onion rings were small, probably from frozen. The chicken sandwich was more generous, nice slices of tomatoes and crisp lettuce, along with crisp fries. Decor is eclectic, and there's a model train on a track suspended from ceiling. (Why not run it?) Tables widely spaced apart (Covid?) And there are old fashioned stools at counter. But the best part was the terrific server. There weren't a lot of patrons, but she refilled our ice teas without asking and was friendly without being obsequious. Definitely worth a stop. And we heard they have pie!

We have been looking for locally owned restaurants in out area. We found this little gem. It's a little diner only open 6 to 2 during the week. Weekends 7 to 1. The waitress was wonderful. The food was great. The sausage gravy was pan made. I knew this was a good little place when teenage boys came in instead of walking down the street to McDonald's. Actually the restaurant is cheaper than McDonald's.

I went for lunch. I walked in after 1:30 not knowing they closed at 2. The place was empty except for one table of people not eating. The server was friendly and didn't make us feel rushed. I ordered breakfast because I thought that would be easy since they were ready to close. It was out fast and it was delicious. I will definitely be back
