Brew-it Coffee and Tea — Restaurant in Atascadero

So I have been to this place a couple times over the course over the last few years. I thought the convenience of a drive thru was great. However, each time I've gotten a breakfast burrito and each time the amount of pepper in that burrito has been excessive to say the least. Like, so much pepper it is extremely over powering and I can't take more than a couple bites. So whoever is cooking should really lighten up on the pepper. Also, the burrito is always cold! They never warm it up nearly enough. It's apparent they like it, but most people do not. The coffee has not tasted good either. I ask what drink is their best seller, they recommend the Mexican hot chocolate. It tastes like chalk. Terrible. And the last time I was there, I requested a piece of coffee cake. I was told they were out. I was looking at a piece that they keep on their display table. I pointed to it and said there's a piece right there. She said we're all out. I said there's a piece right there, pointing again. Can you sell it??? She repeats they're all out. I said ok but I'm looking right at a piece, can you sell it or not??? She repeats that they are out. Never answering if they can sell the display piece or not. She probably wanted it for herself. If they were all out and not selling the display piece, you think they would remove it so customers knew they were all out?? So overall their customer service just sucks. I've tried to give this place a chance but they consistently disappoint. Malibu Coffee is much better. Joe Bella is way better. Hell, even the Starbucks franchises are far superior. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They need to totally redo the menu, get a new cook, and give the staff a training on how to be pleasant and act accordingly in customer service. 10/10 DO...

Came here to get drink and a sandwhich, the woman taking my order was beyond disrespectful. I asked her if she took tap to pay and instead of giving me an answer she rolled her eyes and said "id prefer not to" i don't know what kind of an answer she thought that was but after asking her again she was like "okay give me the phone then" after I had paid I watched her throw away the receipt which made me a little suspicious as to why she did that so I asked her for a receipt and she just handed me a receipt with just the total not an itemized receipt. The food and drinks were below average and took around 20 minutes to receive. You would think that somewhere that is only a drive thru would hand out food and drinks rather quickly. The prices were not worth it for the sad sandwhich and drink I got, would've been better off going to Starbucks. Atleast there an order for one...

Ordered three sandwiches total two of them were the same and one was different The whole bill came to 30 plus bucks which was a little bit on the high side for a sandwich granted a tuna melt and a BLT and a tuna melt That's high for $30 Plus Nothing special about the tuna melt at all actually kind of bland Now the best part of the BLT They forgot to make the sandwich while we were waiting at the second window now when we got the sandwich the bread was burnt on the inside now how do you burn a piece of bread unless you are not watching it or having it on a timer or the toaster's broken

I don't like their drive-thru because it is incredibly tight turning and my vehicle does not have the best turning radius

Stopped here one time before this experience and got a bagel and cream cheese and it was perfectly fine everything...
