Captain D's — Restaurant in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

I went inside to order bc I am more likely to get fresh food that way in my opinion. Not in this case!!!! I ordered for me and my son. My order came up and I went to the car. I looked at my food. My fish was so overcooked to were there was no meat just a hard dried up brick! All four pieces of fish. So I went back in and said ma'am this is unedible. She took it back to the kitchen instead of bringing me freshly cooked fish she took my plate to the back. She brought it back up and said I'm sorry. I opened it back up and said, well ma'am did u look at the mac and cheese? Y'all that mac and cheese was so dehydrated and was starting to turn brown!!!!! She kind of huffed and said he's a new order of mac and cheese. WELL MA'AM you took my order to the back with you and u still gave me that old A%% mac and cheese. So after all that I get home and my son and I took one bite of the fish and spit it out!! It was bland and tough. We did NOT trust that fish!! There was NO need to call and complain bc that WAS the manager who took my order to the back to fix it. So what good would that have done for me? So for that night I was out $28 and still had to find something to eat. I normally cook but once in a while I want to get something while I'm out. That was VERY disappointing considering my son and I had been craving captain d's for a while. Later that day I went to my mom's house and they went to captain d's on Atl hwy. I have Epilepsy I should start off saying. I went through the drive-through last night 01/26/2025 at 8:41 pm. I ordered 1 super sampler with double okra as the sides 1 super sampler with Mac and cheese and okra as the sides. 1 order of funnel cake sticks and 5 butterfly shrimp. I expected to receive what I ordered. I had a seizure when I left Captin D establishment. I took my meds when I got home and was so drained, and out of it, I went to sleep. When I woke up today, I called and talked to a manager. She didn't give a name. I called back and spoke to Christy, the GM. I even apologized, and my phone dropped the call.

I explained to Christy this time that the sampler that had double okra didn't have the two pieces of fish. it did have the chicken and shrimp. I was told that I should have called last night within an hour. I explained the situation and my seizures, and I was told it didn't matter that there was nothing she could do about it. Mind you, I have the food, the receipts, and everything. I wanted the one sampler replaced, and she told me no. So if you have any type of seizures or anything that makes you drained and not able to function, do not go to the capton D they have no problem telling you it does not matter or that they do not care about...

One day I overlooked the shrimp skewer that I ordered extra it is usually in a box but this time it wasn't it was in a bag like a napkin so I went in to tell them that they forgot my shrimp skewer in the Drive-Thru instead of checking right away I got called a liar like I was a thief the girl looks in my bag finds the paper thing that it was in which it's usually in foil and slams it back into the bag and shoves the bag to me. Even though I was wrong and I said I'm sorry I did not see that it's usually in something different I was still treated as if I totally made them go through an extra 2 hours of work the food is good here but the work ethics sucks don't expect kind and courteous employees when you...
