Definitely the best carnitas I’ve had around in Athens. My go to taco place is Los plebes in north avenue but thats a bit of a drive from campus. Cielito is definitely a great alternative when I want a similar experience but at a closer range. I wish there were more meat options in here for the tacos. The birria tacos are a wonderful addition!! The shrimp tacos were a bit meh. But overall a great place for authentic Mexican food around UGA

OMG!! Cielito lindo is an amazing place, the food was so tasty and so good. Service was awesome, so kind and friendly. I recommend this place, real Mexican food and some good tequila. Come try it!!!

Went on opening night. AMAZING! We sampled a few dishes (queso fundido, al pastor and steak tacos, and churros). Everything was delicious! As someone with Mexican heritage, I get really critical of Mexican restaurants, and this one does not disappoint. Yummy and authentic. Will be adding this to my regular dining rotation. Not only is the food tasty, the decor is beautiful! Very well-designed and thought out. Great spot for cute pictures and to enjoy the vibes. My toddler also...

the food was so delicious. the queso was to die for and so amazing. there are so many options on the menu to choose from and everything sounded delicious. lauren was our server and she was so attentive and such a great waitress! 10/10 experience and would recommend to anyone wanting a great food...
