Truly Delicious. The best burger I have ever eaten! And trust me, I have eaten some burgers (and it shows!)

I try to be balanced in my reviews. But I can't think of anything bad or even mediocre about this place.

If you're reading this you're probably hungry. The food here was generously portioned, hot, flavorful and fresh. We had a couple of farm burgers and fries and onion rings. We tried the peach shake for dessert, but I wasn't even hungry at that stage.

The burgers were piping hot, moist and juicy. The caramelized onions and cheese gave the burger enough flavor without any condiments. They have a Farm Burger sauce that I got on the side that adds a tangy flavor but I was glad I got it on the side. I could dip into it occasionally, but the burger flavor alone was tremendous.

The fries were soft, but super tasty and hot. They actually had a flavor without seasoning. Very delicious. The onion rings were crispy and hot.

They offer a wide range of soft drinks and beer choices. But they also have a refillable drink bar which has several different flavors of juice and tea. We got that and mixed our own. I had a mango strawberry juice that was great.

The restaurant is new and the decor is all fresh and colorful. Lots of steel and wood with a clean "Metro" kind of feel. You order at the counter and they give you a number and bring your food to you. I guess if I have a negative that would be it. I generally prefer table service especially if you have a group. Gives you more time to socialize. But the young man taking our order was super helpful and informative about all the choices.

They have an outdoor seating area that was very cute with fans and lighting around the edges. We were tempted but the July mugginess pushed us back inside.

The location is on the edge of the downtown area in the ground floor of a retail center. It's pretty new and there's not a lot in it right now. I could imagine that it will be a hopping location once they get a few more tenants.

It is street side and normally this would be a parking problem, but they have a deck around back that provides free parking for patrons. It was very convenient and there were plenty of spots.

It's a new favorite for me. I can imagine that this will be a location we will frequent often. It's not cheap. That could be a second downside for some folks. But the quality of the food far surpassed the pain in my wallet!

*UPDATE

We went back this evening and brought a couple of our kids. We all ordered burgers and drinks. My wife had a small issue with her burger. It had too much sauce on it. A little messy and sort of spilling over the edge. And that's not a big problem, but we mentioned it to the young lady working there, and she immediately brought out another burger. The service was incredible! So yet another reason to come here is fantastic service. Focused on the customer, focused on quality!

Excellent place! I'm going to start a burger list and this one will...

I hardly often give this level of review, so let me explain.

While acknowledging it was opening week, I was reserved on writing the review. The burger (sunrise?) was OK and the salad/fries were good (especially there house dressing). However, the thing that moved the needle from a 4 star to 2 star was the service and follow-up customer service. My partner ordered a simple regular salad. The 30 minute wait for both resulted in the incorrect salad. After waiting for the new salad for another 30 minutes, I let them know about situation and us leaving just to be told a follow-up would occur - none ever did. I tried to get help and it seemed to be most of the staff refused to help.

I understand the kinks for opening a restaurant, but to mess a salad up and then at least never attempt to execute on helping figure situation out embodied the experience. I will visit again in a couple of months to have update on service, but, until then, I likely will hold off...

First time at Farm Burger Athens - So, here’s what I learned: great place (parking in the back), indoor or outdoor seating, great people who work there, great food. I really enjoyed the fries. My husband compared them to Five Guys fries, but they tasted better than that to me! I got a side of their signature Farm Burger dipping sauce, which I loved. We both ordered the double bacon burger. My husband devoured his. It took me awhile to finish mine. I’m normally an avocado burger gal, but since they don’t have avocado I asked for some lettuce and tomato. It came with pickle slices that had a spicy kick to them. I think next time, I’ll try the original Farm Burger. Maybe I’ll bring an avocado with me. They have two types of beverages: canned or fresh ones with complimentary refills. I sampled the fresh ones and found most of them delicious, as in the strawberry mixed with other fruits. Yes,...

Living around Charlotte, NC, we don't have Farm Burger here. Being an Athens Rock Lobster fan, one of the team promos was several players created their own burger during their inaugural season. I made the trip to Athens for the ARL 2025-2026 season opener and promised myself I'd eat here and recreate Brandon Reller's "Thor Burger" (only thing unavailable was the jalapeno mustard). BEST BURGER EVER!!! Yes, it's pretty expensive for a burger place, but SO WORTH IT! Our area's top burger place is Bad Daddy's. Farm Burger puts them to shame! Can you PLEASE open one in Davidson, NC? Cute college town with quaint walkable main street, y'all would be perfect in! And maybe another around Lewisville, NC (same vibes as Davidson). My daughter made the trip to Athens with me and said the exact same thing...y'all have the BEST burgers we've ever had!
