Read moreYossi Kitchen brings a fresh take on Indian cuisine with its fusion approach. If you’re expecting a strictly traditional Indian menu, this isn’t that but what they do offer is incredibly well-executed fusion food with bold flavors and high-quality ingredients.
The standout for me was the gravy. I tried both the Butter and Vindaloo options, and they were some of the richest, most flavorful gravies I’ve had in Athens. The balance of spice and creaminess was spot on, something that even many traditional Indian restaurants struggle with.
I also tried the Chicken 65, and while it wasn’t overly spicy, the flavor was incredibly rich and layered. The seasoning had depth, and it was fried just right.
The Rose Lassi was another highlight. Unlike many places that use pre-made or low-quality lassi, you can tell theirs is made with care. The flavor was authentic, refreshing, and not overly sweet, just the way it should be.
The location is another plus. Though it’s inside a market, the outdoor seating gives you a great elevated view of Prince Avenue, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal in a lively but relaxed setting.
If you’re looking for a place that blends Indian flavors with a fresh, modern twist without sacrificing quality then Yossi Kitchen is worth checking out....
Read moreWe had the pleasure of having Yossi’s Kitchen cater my daughter’s graduation party for nearly 100 guests, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I made. I was initially stressed about planning such a large event, but the owner personally assured me that everything would go smoothly—and he was absolutely right.
Every single guest raved about the food. The freshness and flavor were outstanding! We served Lilva Kachori, samosas, paneer sabji, dal tadka, naan, roti, jeera rice, and gulab jamun. Each dish was delicious, but the paneer was especially fresh and the dal tadka was packed with rich, comforting flavor. The chef prepared everything fresh, and it truly showed.
And the gulab jamun—oh my goodness—was the perfect way to end the meal. It had just the right amount of sweetness and was incredibly soft and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
I would recommend Yossi’s Kitchen 1000% for catering or any kind of celebration. They also have a lovely space at their restaurant if you’re looking for a dine-in or small event option. I’m so glad we have this gem right here in Athens, and I’m already looking forward to ordering...
