The first time I went to this place it was around noon and I had ordered a falafel gyro. The place was pretty disgusting and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a minute. Half way through giving my order they informed me they were out of falafel. How do you run out of falafel at noon on Saturday? That's just poor planning. So I left that day and figured I would try another time.

The time I actually got food I was not impressed with this place. The fries were cold and clearly weren't cooked completely. The gyro was half assed and wasn't wrapped properly/completely or cut in the center. The falafel was decent, but it wasn't broken up as it usually is at other places in town. I asked for olives on my wrap and they gave me green olives. That's kind of weird to me. The gyro was also soggy when I got it and just not very good overall. What I paid for and what I got was definitely not equal.

I was excited about a good gyro place in town, but this place is just not very good at all. Keba is the better choice with superior customer service, prices and food.

This place must still be around because of it's location alone. If they were anywhere else in town they wouldn't have lasted this long. I will never...

I've had my fair share of authentic Mediterranean gyro's ("year-o"). Good atmosphere and service here, but the food didn't really meet expectations. I'd say it's on the lower end of my gyro experiences in terms of flavor. The portion size was a little smaller than expected and the gyro meat was a bit too salty and dry. The tzatziki ("tsót-siki") sauce had good flavor, but some extra would have been nice to dip it in - it's 75¢ extra for additional sauce, however, so I didn't end up getting that. Fries were very good and having them unsalted definitely balanced with the saltines of the gyro meat. I'll add a photo of a more updated menu - being that the last one didn't label tomatoes and onion in the gyro. This one is more updated. Good hang out spot if anything and fairly affordable. About $10-13 average per person depending on how much...

I took my mom here and we weren’t treated well at all by the people in the videoclips. We ate inside and our order was brought to us wrong. We asked for a new sandwich and didn’t get that ,we asked for management and he was almost as bad as the servers. He didn’t want to have anything to do with us. Hopefully they will learn to treat ALL people the same after this.

—it’s a dirty place and it’s unsanitary. You should watch your food be prepared. —The food they took from our table that was incorrect ,they took it back to where they prepared other orders and instead of disposing of the sandwich like we asked & like you are suppose to once it’s been at a table —They simply picked the onions off of the sandwich we just had dug through and brought it back to us AFTER telling them she was allergic to onions. —Be...

I grew up in Athens and loved Gyro Wrap when I was in high school and college in the 1980's. I'm so happy they have reopened as their food brings back great memories for me! My sincere thanks go to whoever decided to reopen it. My last day of undergraduate school at UGA, my Mom (who worked on the UGA campus) offered to buy me lunch. I chose Gyro Wrap and my only disappointment was that I graduated at the age of 20 and they carded me when I tried to order a beer. I will always remember that. Today, the food is very good, and as I remember it. Their service is fast and friendly, and the prices are in line with other downtown Athens eateries. Please give it a try, I love it!

🥙 Ordered a Gyro Wrap. It was enjoyable and satisfying - not like amazingly outstanding but a classic flavor you would expect. The gyro presented well-cooked meat and crisp vegetables, offering a delightful combination of textures and flavors. ✅ Consistent price: What truly impressed me was their dedication to fair pricing, ensuring consistent prices whether dining in or ordering online. Their transparent pricing demonstrated the restaurant's integrity. Also, throughout my visit, the staff provided amiable service, enhancing the overall experience.
