I just had Martiāsās cater my wedding of 105 people at 255 Milledge in Athens. I cannot recommend this team and Jay enough. Starting off the food was immaculate, I have been to many weddings, and even though this was my own, the food was the best that I have ever had. We still have people coming up to us and sending us messages about how delicious the food was. We did a plated salad and a buffet style dinner and everything was so fresh. Jay was amazing to work with, he answered any questions that we had, and the night before we found out that my cousin had a very strict diet, and he was able to accommodate her dietary restrictions with less than 24 hour notice. Not many people look back at their wedding and think about the food and how it affected their day. But when I look back, I truly think about how amazing the food was, and how amazing the team was as well. Jay was there overlooking the entire staff the whole time and right before my husband and I went out to be announced at the reception, Jay came up to us and told us congratulations. And I am so glad that I had that little moment to be able to thank him face-to-face during such a crazy day . If you are looking for a caterer for any events, you must...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food was amazing and fresh, I ordered an egg salad sandwich for lunch. The portions are hefty and served alongside quality fruit (strawberries, pineapple & orange slices). There are also pita points served with the sandwiches, which were really hard and inedible.
There was nowhere to sit as the establishment is in an old house and can only accommodate so many guests. There is outdoor seating but it was raining. When I initially ordered they asked if it was for there or to go, I wanted to eat there but had to change it to go and it was a little bothersome the staff can visibly see the whole restaurant and didnāt mention there werenāt any tables available. Thereās an upstairs they said is used for storage but seems like given the popularity theyād turn at least part of the upstairs into seating. When a table became available a guest arriving after me snagged the spot right away, so itās first come first serve and the patrons seemed a little snooty.
It was $13 for the egg salad sandwich after 20% tip contradictory to menu prices posted online which stated $5. Again the food served was quality for the most part but due to slim accommodations and pricing it wasnāt for me and I probably...

As you walk up to this quaint and colorful spot, the casual and lively energy will make the environment very inviting. Though it can get busy, the service is prompt and the wait is minimal.
The mint tea was so refreshing and delicious.
Then comes your food, a box of treasure sat down right in front of you. I had The Paige (tuna melt) while my friend had the Amy (chicken salad). I'm always skeptical of tuna eaten out, but this melt delivered. Not only was the sandwich great, but the portion was huge. I only ate half the sandwich and the leftovers will surely be glorious. It came with pita chips seasoned and toasted to perfection, which were perfect for eating the tuna that escaped the sandwich. It also came with mixed fruit and lettuce and tomato. All of which were amazing and probably picked at their perfect moment of ripeness.
I was probably glowing and leaving a trail of glitter when I left here. When you begin giggling at the happiness contained in a restaurant and its food, you know you've picked...
