We had a party of 5 around 10:45 on a Sunday. You wait in line to order at the counter, then sit to wait for your food, which they bring to you. There weren’t any open tables when we got to the front of the line, so they made us stand there and wait to order. When a table finally did open up, we were then allowed to order. We got the Veggie with Cheese Grits ($8.50 + $1.50), the Veggie with Home Fries ($8.50 + $1.50), a chicken biscuit, a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel, and the Fire Bird ($11). Everyone really, really enjoyed their sandwiches. They were all delicious. The cheese grits and home fries were great too. Two complaints: - The prices. The biscuit sandwiches do not come with a side. The sandwiches were actually pretty big and we quickly realized that we didn’t need sides to fill us up. However, given how high the prices are, I think they sandwiches should come with a side. Either include the side, or lower the prices. - The ordering/seating situation. I understand that they don’t want to pay for waiters and that it’s cheaper the way they currently have it, with ordering at the counter and running the food out. I also understand that they don’t want to take our order and then bring the food out and not have a table for us to eat it at. It was still annoying that we were at the front of the line and we couldn’t order because there wasn’t an open table. If they had taken our order when they knew a table was finishing up, then we could’ve gotten our food a lot sooner and they would’ve been able to turn our table quicker. Clearly they have some situations to work out with service and hopefully prices. However, the food was amazing (and clearly people are paying the premium for it) and that’s what’ll keep people coming back.

Yeah…wow. Ok, so, here we go. Staff was great and meal worth every penny for the locally sourced fare. Had the Firebird with added microgreens and subbed side habanero jelly (not too spicy and definitely a must try). Incredible biscuit, with a hint of crispness to outer layer, but remained fluffy on the inside. Also had the shuga bites, ‘nough said, just get ‘em. You won’t be sorry. Definitely new favorite breakfast in Athens. Presentation was also on point and timely. Also, just a heads up, because of the exquisite and outrageously delectable nature of their food, you may be tempted to come back multiple times a day.

This is best breakfast sandwich in America! Whenever I'm in town, this is my go to for breakfast. My daughter and I ordered the June Bug breakfast sandwich. FC never disappoints. I love to put the strawberry jam on my sandwich. It's always hot and fresh. I love flavor. I do not have to add salt or pepper to this sandwich like at other restaurants. Other items we purchased are the Homefries 10/10, Cheese Girts 8/10, The June Bug (vegetarian) 10/10. Food prices are very reasonable. Breakfast for two, nothing more than $30-40 (with tip) which is great because we pay for quality food and excellent customer service.

YUM YUM YUM and YUM! Wow 🤩 what a delightful surprise to find this breakfast spot after driving to Mama’s Boy and the parking lots were full. So frustrating when you haven’t had your coffee yet. First, they have adequate parking spaces 🙌 a rare find for restaurants closer to downtown. They have a more vast menu selection than expected. We definitely found the actual biscuit, along with the amazing fried chicken and thick cut bacon to be “even better” than Mama’s Boy (I was shocked, bc I enjoy their chicken & goat cheese biscuit & the vegetable scrambler). I wasn’t expecting to use language in this review like Farm Cart’s biscuits were “even better!!”

As a doula, I often have to eat out. I also regularly work through the night, missing lunch and / or dinner. When I stop for breakfast, I am starving and very sleepy and still have to drive home. I need a hearty breakfast and some really good hot coffee! Therefore, I also write a lot of reviews from GA, SC to NC for other weary travelers like me.

Here is my official Your Birth Helper /part time Food Critic rating…. “Hands down 5 stars!” The coffee was on point and they happily allows me to add my own sugar and cream. They gladly provided it on the side for me! The staff was exceptional and friendly! I believe they were smiling behind their masks ;) If you like to spice up your life, try the sriracha honey drizzled over that amazing chicken thigh 😍 perfectly cooked! If you enjoy a bacon, egg and cheese (a classic my favorite)particularly if you like crispy bacon well this is your spot! Totally on point! Can’t wait to go back! They even happily lightly fried my egg leaving a half runny yoke! My Compliments to the COOK! 😘

If you travel for work like me, I think you will find it better than The Watch in Charlotte, NC a farm to table. And, better than other local favorites like J. Christopher’s, bc rare to find parking in Five Points and definitely Farm Cart has better coffee & better traditional breakfast (not sure they could compete with specialty pancake options) as for Mama’s Boy, based on my breakfast lover food critic opinion Farm Cart has a Better BISCUIT, Better Bacon & Better CHICKEN and that’s saying something! Will definitely be back and bring the whole...

The food here is delicious. They're usually at the farmer's market but I had yet to make it to the brick and mortar location until recently for a faculty hiring search. I contemplated leaving this review but decided to when I was invited to breakfast again for work and opted not to go because of my experience.

I have a service dog who wears a vest indicating so. He has "on" and "off" commands that I give him that allows him to "say hi". I mention this because as I was waiting to give my order, I allowed him to "say hi" to a co-worker. While placing my order, I was informed that dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant because of health safety and they'll allow it because of the cold temperature outside. I communicated that I understood and that he is a service dog to which a nod and a "uh huh" was given in response in a tone that made me uncomfortable. That may not have been the person's intention but it certainly gave me pause and made me uneasy for the remainder of the time I was there and not wanting to make a big deal out of it due to our hosting a visitor.

It's not my intention to try to circumvent laws and I am aware of my rights in accordance with the ADA so it sucks to be made to feel like I've done something wrong when I haven't.

In summary, I did enjoy the food and the older person working that day was pleasant. I recommend the place based on their food but will probably not patron...
