Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Athens

I have been to this location 3 times the first 2 times service and food was excellent. I have been to several in the Columbus area many times and never have I experienced what I did this past Saturday. 4 of us walked in around 8 to 830pm and the hostess stated it would be 30 to 45 min wait. As I look around I see 4 to 5 tables that have not been cleaned and another 5 to 6 empty. We stated we would sit at the bar. The seat next to me was empty that was not cleared of either. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. 45 min later we asked the bar tender to check on our food. She came back out of the kitchen and stated it was not ready. As time went on we asked her again to check on the food and she said they are bringing it right out. We sat there for another 20 min. through 20 bucks down on the bar to pay for the drinks as our bartender was not around and walk out. As we step out of the side door she yells "here is your food", we came back and sat down to eat the food. With the food just coming out of the kitchen you expect it to be "HOT" far from being hot. If the food was brought out 20 min earlier it would of been. To wait an 1 hour 20min to an hour and half is ridiculous. I could see if all the tables were occupied being backed up but they were...

Normally when my significant other and I go (idk if it matters but we are an MLM in relationship. It shouldn't but in today's world it might) we have great food and wonderful service. But today we went in for dinner and our server came up and asked if we were on separate checks I said no. Thats fine do your job I work in food industry I get it. We got our drinks in and then our food and saw her once after that. She sat 1 table who was full of typical male jocks they got there after us and got there food before us. We watched her go to their table every few minutes and completely ignored us. We continued to sit and wait for our food for 40 minutes (wings and potato wedges). We then waited an additional hour to get our check and pay. Where the tables that got there after us who was in her row got served and left. Like I said prior I work in the food industry so I know in the US it's a big thing to leave tips because we are underpaid I will normally leave at least a 20% tip. This was the first time I've been this disappointed in the service at this restaurant. When I am taking my significant other out a date I expect to be treated like everyone else. We’ve been coming to this location for just about 10 years now. This is the worst we’ve ever experienced. Things have been regressing lately but this was awful. The servers are completely uninterested, annoyed and just gave the overall impression that we are imposing upon them by showing up for dinner on a Friday night at 6pm.

The dining side of the restaurant is less than half full and we’ve been made to feel as if we are an imposition on their evening. Our server Karissa, the hostess and the “manager” spent most of the first half hour we were here in the corner just observing the seating area.

I’m basically just live reviewing as we sit here. The kitchen staff is bringing our food out, not our server and our meals were delivered about 2 minutes after our appetizer. Our daughter has not been given a spoon after asking.

It takes a lot to motivate a review like this from people who work closely in customer service. I hope the owners make some significant changes and hire some individuals who are committed to giving exceptional customer service. In a word, this has...
