Ruby Tuesday — Restaurant in Athens

Do NOT go to this location. Long review but I want to make sure you can see the reason for the low stars. We have given this place 3 tries. This last time was it for us. We ordered the pizza bites appetizer and the waitress came out and told us they were out of the sauce so we decided on not to get them. Which was fine by us no issue. Well we go get our salads and the salad bar was half empty (not close to closing time). Well when our food comes out eventually they brought 2 orders out of 7 out. One being our child's tenders with grapes. Well from where they had the plate on the warmer the grapes because very very hot. So we told the waitress and she got some new ones. Well by this time 2 more orders came out. One was wrong. We still were missing the last order which was chicken parmasesn. Well she never came back till the first 2 orders were done eating. (Still missing the last one at the time). We asked where that plate was and she said oh we thought you didn't want it since we were out of the sauce that goes in it. Well we were NOT told they didn't have the sauce for it or was asked if we wanted something else or brought a menu or anything to insinuate this dish was not going to be made. The manager never came out they never said sorry or can we get you something else or anything. So one person had to sit there while the rest of our party finished eating. While we were waiting for our food a couple came in and when the hostest asked a waitress if she could take them she signed very loud and told the hostest to put them at a certain table. Very agitated. I understand they are short staffed but you don't do that in front of customers. Especially the ones wanting to be seated. Over half the tables were dirty and nobody was cleaning them. It was just a very very bad experience. This was all after a 45 min wait. (Which is understandable if they are busy). Everywhere is understaffed right now but there is still no excuse for this kind of service. We left and had to go Wendy's to get the last person's supper. edited to add the waitress offerd us a free piece of cheesecake for the "miscommunication" which we did decline because by this time we were ready to just get out and get supper for the one...

Ruby Tuesdays used to be one of our families favorite restaurants. We drove from Cleveland to have the salad bar and ordered pasta entrees. To start with it was freezing cold in the restaurant, then after we were seated our server didn't greet us or ask for our drink order for a good 15 minutes, he had 2 other tables in our section he visited during this time and didn't acknowledge us. We ordered our drinks and food and went to the salad bar, it wasn't very well stocked and they didn't have croutons out until we were leaving, the mandarin oranges on the bar were fermented and we informed the waiter as well as hostess and they were never removed from the bar. Our pasta was edible but not the same flavor and quality we were used to and expected from ruby Tuesdays. I'm disappointed that I spent my hard earned money on this meal , I did tip because I'm a server myself and would never stiff someone but I didn't use the preset 20, 25 or 30% options on the machine because he spent less than 2 minutes taking care of us, he also brought out the wrong drinks for our refills but scurried away before we...

I can't even rate it 0 it was just such a terrible experience..my husband and I have had Ruby Tuesday they've always been pretty okay. But today I'm not sure what was happening. We didn't have a proper server..fine doesn't bother us..EXCEPT when we aren't told they are out of EVERYTHING just about on the menu. Asked for a medium burger and fries..well done, grissled with a stale bun. They were out of fries, got a loaded baked potato..out of bacon we guess and butter. Never received either on the potato. Cheese fries were repulsive. I'm not sure where those fries even came from. Specially being out of fries. They just tasted like McDonald's with cold queso and shredded cold cheese not even hot or broiled. Husbands chicken was not even edible and cheese sauce made him sick. Happened to overhear another table being out of bacon and broccoli. Would've been nice to know. Drink was about the only good thing. Will never be back..not with that price of the bill..and went home more hungry than we left..this will be my first and last...
