Slice Pizza Co. — Restaurant in Athens

If you're looking for the review that will convince you to try this place, let me tell you, you absolutely must!

I was in town visiting family, as I live in the Dallas area, and decided I wanted some pizza so I looked for the nearest place and it seemed promising so I decided to go in. The owner was working and she was so nice. We chatted up a nice conversation and got to know a little bit about her and how she got to where she is now. Customer service was great ! Thank you for sharing with me!

Now in terms of food, I got myself the Bonnie specialty pizza and the cheese bread. The food was heavenly, everyone at home agreed as well. Wish I could share a picture but we dug into the food so fast, i had no chance to even think about it. They've also got quite the variety, you don't find that in many pizza establishments.

They've got a nice clean place, you can watch them make your food too. Loved the experience, I'll be coming back next time I'm in...

The pizza is by far the best I've had in a while! But I ordered via the Slice app for delivery a month or so ago, they had to call me to verify the order, that was annoying, only cause the delivery time was not correct because of that. No biggie, it's a new place. Next time I ordered via the Slice app for pickup, I got there at the time it said it would be ready to pickup. But when I got there, they wanted to verify my order, before they made it. So what's the point of the app? The restaurant made a comment like, "oh, she used the app...." If that's the way they are going to use the app, they should call to verify the order right when the order is placed... not when I showed up. I removed it from my phone and I won't order from this restaurant for a while because of this. It was just weird. I guess the best way to get pizza from here is to walk in and order, or call-in a...

We just got our first full pizza tonight after having a couple individual slices in the past. The pizza was fantastic! We got the Bonnie and Clyde half and half pizza. Sooo good. My wife and I are kind of food snobs and we always hope for a very good product on the infrequent times we don’t cook at home. We also like supporting local businesses. The ingredients were super high quality, the crust was perfect (we like thinner, crispier crust) and the sauce was spectacular. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but the 16” pizza is a true large pizza and it’s well worth the cost for an excellent pizza. No offense to the other pizza places near Kemp, but this is just better in every way (but cost). Three of us ate and we still have 4 slices leftover. Go ahead and splurge with them.
