Taco Bell — Restaurant in Athens

I always get a couple of the Doritoes dos tacos. But over time, they started to get over loaded, with lettuce. So for awhile, we asked them to go light on the lettuce. Meat, and cheese, have always been a bit skimpy. So we just didn't go there for awhile. Because of conveniance, we went there today, for the first time in awhile. Well, the 2 Doritoes, tacos, barely, had a small spoon, worth of meat, barely, covering, the bottom of the shells, filled the rest of the way to the top, with lettuce. Not a speck of cheese, anywhere in the Entire Thing, and the shells were kind of mangled. Both of them. Never again!!! Lost our business! This was the drive through. I know that a fast food job, isn't everybodies, cup of tea. So I have to blame management, for these failings. Seem to be going, the way, of McDonalds. They have gotten attrocious! We'll just have to start driving the extra 20 miles to Taco Bueno in Tyler. Where the portions, are much larger, more filling, and taste much better. Their meat, is much better, and the frijolies (re-fried beens), are the best out there!!! They all want that $15 or better, dollars an hour. But really don't...

Really good food and would have given them a four star if they put more than half a pinch of cheese on their products so we can at least taste it and, something that has really got me is the fact they don't and won't give you extra sauce if you ask, I like two packs per item as I like my food hot but they refuse to give more than one, I don't get it. This is ongoing not a new thing so have decided to try another Taco Bell and if that is the same then, another place that sells Mexican food.

Went back on 01/27/2021 And the food is back to what it used to be, the burritos we buy were bulked like they used to be and so were the tacos!! And plenty of cheese on both as well as we got two packets of fire sauce for each product, I shall return actually today as we eat Taco Bell a lot. Fingers crossed it was not a one off.

Gave them a 4 star as the food we got was not just a one off, seems the manager actually may care, we have been back a few times since original post and there is more meat, more cheese on the products we ordered now, if they can just quit being stingy with the fire sauce we have a returning customer deal...

Horrible service, franchise is great as a whole but this location sucks! Continuously leave items out of your order in the drive thru! Forgot my 3 yr olds item, didn't realize this until I arrived home(my fault for not checking) sure when I called they offered to make it right but who the hell wants to drive back to get it while the food we DID GET is getting cold. I wanted to eat a hot dinner with my family but that didn't happen! This place is horrible and if I could give it 0stars I would! This has happened to me here several times, my fault for going back. Wont happen again! Update 5/12/18 My co-worker had to call and complain this morning about there only being 4 cups of sauce for damn near a $40 order. When he expressed his concern he was over talked and responded to with sarcasm, MGR even stated she didn't have time to discuss his complaint! This place better re-evaluate who they have working for them because it sounds to me like they have a MGR issue, especially with the one working...
