Taco Casa — Restaurant in Athens

We moved from Gun Barrel city and the location there was awesome the food was always fresh and great sized portions but since we moved to Athens it’s the complete opposite the food always tastes old the tacos and burritos are half the size I ordered 4 soft tacos with sour cream on all of them I only got sour cream on 2 the other 2 looked like they were old I ordered a extra bean burrito with extra beans instead of extra beans I got a table spoon of beans it was mostly tortilla and a little cheese I asked for a side of mild sauce I got a container with about a teaspoon of sauce all that cost me 16 dollars and all the times at the Athens location the girls working the window are very rude we never had rude service in Gun Barrel City I don’t know if it’s the same owners but it’s night and day of the 2 stores I got to taco casa 2-3 times a week my wife jokes with me calling me Mr taco but from now on I’ll only go to the GBC store Athens...

Tonight we went through the drive thru. The order taker was hardly pleasant in his voice while taking the order. He was short and rude. He handed us a bag that did not make sense which what we ordered so we checked the bag before we left the drive thru. When he noticed this, he opened the window and said “is there a problem?” I kindly responded “yes sir, I don’t believe this is our order.” He said “oh, can you put it back in the bag and let me see it?” We got our correct order. However, after 15 years in the restaurant industry, I know for a fact that you cannot take food BACK that has already been touched by a customer rather the order is right or wrong. I would hate to know if that customer behind us received the food we touched. This is unprofessional...

Been in the drive thru for 13 minutes? 12 at least. 3 cars have moved, MAYBE 4. Wildly inefficient. Can't even call it a drive thru, more like a Sit-N-Wait.

It's now been 20 minutes. 2 more cars have moved. Love Taco Casa, idk if we'll be back to this one.

Just got finished. 31 minutes. 4 workers. The black kid was the only one making food. The white guy with the stache was taking the orders and making drinks. The old white lady was just standing there watching em work. Walked back and forth a bit, but literally didn't work at all, and the drive thru line got a 30 minute wait. That's wild. The lil mexican guy was just fumbling with the bags. 1 out of 4 people making food. 1 out of 4 taking orders and making drinks. 2 out of 4 just useless, in there...
