Ok so let me go all the way back to when this place was closed down or sold due to the owner making racist ass comments about president Obama and the staff walk out. Now fast forward to the name changing to midtown moon but let me be clear I like this gay bar and I’m not racist nor due I have a problem with the white gay men but it seems to be still tainted with racism and last night I’ve most definitely experience it and also handle it. Attention racist ass white men Atl will not spare u with that bullshit if u think u are going to come out and try it with us black gay men u better think again is all im going to say and I will continue to go there and be free because I can in 2025. When I'm traveling to visi the ATL, I make sure I pack my leather gear and stop to support Atlanta Eagle bar. As a member of ONYX, I do my part to make suer our presence is show in the leather community, as a titleholder for Mr.Maryland leather 2016, I was honored to join this bar's float for this year's pride parade, But most of all I was impressed by the welcoming recived by this bars staff and patrons! I asked if I could display some advertisment for MML2017, The bar welcomed my flyers and poster for our upcoming contest. This act of unity and hospitality in our community will always be remembered in my leather journey. Thank you for a great experience EAGLE!
