D C Wings & BBQ — Restaurant in Atlanta

The wings 🪽 were delicious 🤤 but the owner/manager/cook (older lady) got to arguing with a customer. It was in regard to the price posted for $10 (4 pcs fish, wings & fries) but the price actually being $12. The food is delicious to be honest, so I would’ve just paid the additional $2 and kept it moving. Instead, the customer (male) proceeded to argue with the manager (I guess to try to haggle her down to the $10 price). Which led to her coming out of the establishment and returning his energy back to him. This was my 1st time trying this wing place and the food DID NOT disappoint. The male customer did disappoint me though with his demeanor and demands. The owner could’ve left out calling him a “negro” but aye 🤷🏾‍♀️ he kinda put himself in a position to be called one. He literally was acting like one and embarrassed himself along with his gf/wife. Me personally I’m 27 yrs old, I’m not arguing or haggling someone that looks like she’s my mother age at best. Even if she did “initiate” the debate etc. it just not in my character to go back and forth, it was an odd experience.

Pssst NEVER argue with someone who’s making your food. 🍽️*

Side note : I love tiny wings 🪽 so this was truly great...

Pulled up to this spot because I saw a video about it on tiktok. The lady taking orders was so rude, but I was still hopeful the wings would live up to the hype. The wait was an entire hour. I got there at 2:14, order taken at 2:20, order received at 3:20.

When I received my bag thank God I checked it because I asked for blue cheese and none of it was in the bag. The wings honestly looked like they had been sitting out for a while. I know what fresh wings look like.

Apparently I’m not hip to the lingo because I asked for hot lemon pepper and when I saw no lemon pepper on my wings I was informed that I didn’t ask for lemon pepper SPRINKLES 🫩😂. She aggressively shook lemon pepper on top of the wings.

The wings were cheap (Wednesday special), however I do not think they were worth the hour wait + nasty attitude from the lady. Mind you we were standing in the hot sun just to be able to hear our order be announced because she wasn’t able to provide an estimated time of when the food would be ready.

She won't answer the phone & when she does she won't take your order saying no one is there not knowing I'm sitting at the light. Hanging up on people. Today I got to the window, the smell was horrible. She said just a minute. I waited. She came I said I wanted a order of lemon pepper wings & a order of mango habanero wings. She said how many wings I don't know how many you want. Well the order come by 10. I just told she can keep it and got back in my car. This is too much & I live in Canton, Ga. If she didn't want to work, my apologies but I didn't make her schedule, the owner did. Being nasty to me won't solve whatever she had going on but why take it out on me.
