HENRI'S BAKERY..

1st time visit. I had the Turkey.. Went into the place about 1640, they close at 1700hrs. The clerk had a terrible disposition from the start, as they were cleaning up. She made my Sandwich and my friends Sandwich with Complete dismay. He paid for his, while I still looked at Pastri a with the rest of our group. I came to the line paid for Mine and she also charged me for his sandwich, so I paid twice for a sandwich he already paid for. He was waiting for a cup cake which they didnt have and wasnt told until much later. As I waited. I ate half the sandwich. Everyone Completed their order, we left out about 1703.. The clerk was furious... I think the tone of our skin upset her the most. I dropped a few people off, got home about 1728 at 1740 I became VIOLENTLY ILL.. Vomiting the contents of the sandwich.. I believe she put something in my Sandwich... I'm going back today Sat 3-24-23 to complain and get my money back for being overcharged. And I will NEVER EAT AT THIS RACIST PLACE AGAIN.. AND WILL ADVISE ANYONE WITH A BROWN SKIN TONE TO BE WARE...

This is my Sandwich mixed in with the stone out front I VOMITED RELENTLESSLY FOR 5MIN.. BAD MEAT, BAD TOPPINGS, BAD SERVICE.. CERTAINLY THIS WHOLE INCIDENT IS IN TAPE AT HENRI'S. I write great reviews and most people respond in favor. I cant give this place a second chance, but I will go back for my change. NO ONE should ever tamper with someone's food they spend money on and always remember the job you choose is your choice..

A customer is any random person that comes in to make certain your job is available and secure. 2 other CAUCASIAN MALES came in after we did.. They were in and out before I got my Sandwich. She STOPPED MAKING MY SANDWICH TO TEND TO THESE OTHER 2 MEN..

Henri’s has been my bakery of choice since my college days 30+ years ago. All of my birthday cakes since then have come from here and I’ve referred countless people who’ve raves about my cakes. It is a true bakery and the only place where I can get REAL buttercream. For that alone, I’d give them 6 stars if possible but the fact that the Westside location will not answer their phones is why I gave 4 stars. This is an ongoing issue and I’ve experienced this multiple times during, before and after the pandemic. You cannot place an order for pickup, inquire about what’s available that day or communicate with them in any way because they refuse to answer the phone. I even called the Sandy Springs location and asked if Westside was closed or had an incorrect number posted here. To my surprise I was told this was a known issue and even when they call from Sandy Springs, they get no answer. How can this be ok for any business especially one that advertises pick-up orders? I’m left with no option but to drive from my location near the airport or skip it all together. Inevitably, when I make the trip, it’s never that crowded and at least 2 employees look as though they aren’t too busy to answer the phone. What gives? Do they not want the business? I sent a family member up to get some onion rolls for our burger dinner that night. These are what I needed to serve because this is what they sold! Actually ruined the special burgers made for dinner. Dry and way over cooked. Had no choice as they were closed by the time I got off work. Really hate that they would actually sell these when they are OBVIOUSLY over cooked!! If you are a bakery why would you sell burnt baked goods? Would a car dealer sell a broken car? Would you pay the lawn guy for not cutting your grass? I guess it’s okay to rip people off by selling obvious overcooked and dry bread, at least according to this management/baker. Whoever baked these should have enough respect to not sell them as acceptable baked bread. That’s just a lazy unprofessional baker! I feel the people who are considering this bakery should know what to expect from the baker!!! My only regret is actually trusting that they would be good and serving them for our dinner.
