Kong's Kitchen — Restaurant in Atlanta

At The working a long shift and being so tired and haven’t ate all day. I stumbled upon this restaurant because I’ve seen and heard that it was really good when I got there. My phone was about to die and you had to scan the menu the lady upfront a black lady upfront was eating her food. She was mad annoyed that I was asking questions because I’ve never been there before and She continued to complain about how she was so hungry and that she should’ve stayed in the back of the restaurant so that she was able to eat her food. Then she complained about her coworker and made it seem like it was my fault or problem, that she hadnt ate all day. I explained to her that I work in the service industry, so I completely understand, because I know what it feels like to work shifts and being on your feet all day and not being able to eat properly, but the fact that she had an attitude and just was this rude about the whole situation it threw me off and I decided not to eat there because of the customer service is that bad and you’re eating in customers face while complaining about how you haven’t had a moment to eat even though that’s what I’m trying to do order food because I’m hungry as well I don’t wanna eat at a...

Very grateful this place was open late however the cashier (LANINE) has a bad attitude.... not to mention screwed up my order after a long day....I just wanted food and sleep. When we walked in we asked if we could have a menu and she completely ignored us, then when we attempted to place our order she decided to take care of a pick up order and completely dismissed us. Lastly we left and asked for extra soy sauce etc... instead of her stating initially she put extra sauce In the bag her tonality changed aggressively “I PUT EXTRA IN THE BAG” which was stapled. As picked up our order there was another couple inside having a rough time with her as well. When we left they walked outside as well to wait on their order and complained about her energy as well. If you are reading this please adjust your attitude... life can be as beautiful as you make it but in our experience with you it was UGLY and we won’t be returning. You couldn’t take accountability for messing up our order and my fiancé said it plain and clear I was there. I asked for a manager she stated she is manager and “somewhat a partner. I typically do not eat Chinese food unless we are at P.F. Chang’s. There is something that Chinese restaurants do to the meat, I think it is called “velveting,” that makes poor or mediocre meat more tender but really just makes it feel like mush that I absolutely can’t stand. Every time I eat from a Chinese food place I am pretty grossed out no matter where it is...until here. The quality of meat is significantly better than any other Chinese restaurant I have been to. We got General Tso’s, seschuan chicken, beef egg fu young, Mongolian beef, and shrimp fried rice. The thing I loved was that the General tsos was really only dusted instead of heavily breaded like at most places. The Mongolian beef was incredible—we were fighting over it. The seschuan chicken was a little bland for our liking but overall we just all agreed this was the beat quality Chinese restaurant we have ever eaten from other than P.F. I will actually order from here again of my own volition and not because everyone else wants Chinese food and I have to suck it up. I am super impressed Kong. You turned this Chinese food hater...
