I visited Smoothie King today and was really disappointed with the experience from start to finish. When we walked in, we weren’t greeted—just looked at like we didn’t belong or weren’t serious about ordering. The energy felt very unwelcoming.
When I asked for my smoothie to be made thicker, it wasn’t made as I requested. On top of that, the employee had an attitude about remaking it—completely dismissive and not customer-friendly at all.
We were there on a Friday, when there’s a promotion for a 32oz smoothie at the price of a 20oz. We ordered two smoothies but were charged full price for both. When we mentioned the deal, the employee looked confused and didn’t seem to know about it. Even worse, when we tried to use a coupon at checkout, he said he couldn’t apply it because we didn’t mention it before ordering. That should’ve been explained ahead of time or asked at the register—something a trained employee should know to do.
We ended up paying $6–$7 more than necessary, just because the employees weren’t informed and weren’t welcoming. Smoothie King needs to seriously improve staff training on customer service, promotions, and how to properly handle orders and coupons. This visit was completely...

11:00am on Saturday morning before ballet class, it was 15 minutes before I walked out with the most bitter and watery smoothie I have ever had. The customer service unspeakably disappointing. I was never greeted when I entered the store, once the barista gave me her attention ridden with much attitude she begrudgingly put my order on the blender and left the front of the store. A few minutes later another rude barista taking her time to enter takes the next persons order while leaving my order on the blender. Without a word a few minutes after that the 2nd barista adds another cup of ice to my order without asking what had been done. She puts the order in a cup without any care and the smoothie began leaking out over the sides and spilled all over me and ruined my clothes and my car. The smoothies are watery and the customer service experience is lack luster to say the least. Unfortunately this particular location has lost my business for good. Read moreSmoothies were fine. Everything else was not. The store smelled like something had gone bad and the customer service was terrible. When we arrived, the two employees working there were both sitting, not making eye contact and didn’t acknowledge that we were there. It felt like they were hoping we would leave. Even after we ordered, there was no verbal acknowledgment, one employee just stood up and started making smoothies. At some point it became clear that something was wrong with our order and we were missing a smoothie (no problem, that happens esp when you don’t acknowledge that an order was even made).... but when I asked to order an additional smoothie, one of the employees got angry and asked me if I was accusing him of not understanding English (what?!). The whole experience was very bizarre …it felt like it went from 0 to 60 for no reason. When we left, my 8 year old son (who was with me) said "that was weird. let's not go back there." Couldn't agree more!
