Before Food:
Iām here now. Iām struggling with a toddler in a freezing cold lobby. Almost like I was at open air market in the winter rain. Iāve been waiting for food since 11:39a it is now 12:24p and still no food. I was quoted 25 minutes for the food which was in accurate.
The bathrooms were not well managed. Dust everywhere and no toilet paper in the ladies. I had to steal it from the menās.
I think I missed a warning sign somewhere like āorder your food, go run errands and come back in an hour.ā
The people were not friendly or rude. I inquired at 12:19 about my food and she said it was ācoming up.ā 10 mins later I got my food for a total wait time of 50 mins.
I think it could be ok with some help, but this is my experience without even tasting the food. There should be more attention to the spaces outside of the kitchen. I noticed the kitchen was dark.
The music is nice. Though I would not say this is a kid-friendly place, it also wasnāt unfriendly.
After Food:
I went from being pissed about freezing in the cold lobby waiting 50 mins for the food to just being in my feelings a little after.
The food is absolutely delicious. We got the Adamsville Special with the beef link and the kid hotcake special. My daughter was tearing hers up. We both hit a little dance as we were eating. Finally I had to pry her up out of there though she wasnāt completely done because it was just soooo cold. A portable heater could be helpful.
My only comment about the food is that because it comes out piping hot (which I love) it burns the styrofoam containers which resulted in particles being broken into the food. I have āthe itisā now.
Price was good. Quality of food was decent and the favor and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was on my lunch break looking for decent food in the area and I saw that this place was only a mile away. I donāt typically hang out on this side of town, but I figured the food would be at least decent. When I walked in, I was greeted by the chef who is really nice and did informed me that they were only serving breakfast. I ordered two over easy eggs, grits, and chicken wings which also came with toast. It took about 15 minutes and the food was fresh. I made a joke about the chicken when I first saw it I called it light skin chicken because Iām used to chicken being a little more brown. That is the best chicken that I have had since Iāve been in Georgia. It was perfectly cooked not overdone and not overly seasoned. It was the perfect flavor. My eggs came out amazing. I didnāt eat my eggs for about 10 minutes after they were made and they still were running on the inside just like I like them, I will definitely be returning because the food was great. The one thing I will say is that the area is sketchy so make sure to keep your car locked and remove all valuables. The food was very affordable. I believe I paid about $10 plus a tip.
