I went in after being next door at the ramen restaurant. I have been mourning a death and was having a day to where I didn’t want to be in a big social setting. I left and came to your establishment. I walked in and I was being looked at and whispered about making me feel very uncomfortable. I sat and was taking a breather and trying to figure out what it was that I wanted to order. I heard your workers beside me make jokes, call me weird, accuse me of other things as well not knowing what mental state I was in. At the very least I was a paying customer that wasn’t bothering nobody. I just wanted to have a peace of mind. Your workers were talking about me not knowing I can here them in the booths right where they give orders. They were loud and obnoxious and very rude. I eventually went up and got my order and I told them my name. Mind you the names were facing them so I wouldn’t even be able to see what orders were on the counter for pickup. The guy was harassing me even after I showed him that I ordered in my phone and being very rude. There was no need for all of that. I got my food and moved down a little so I wouldn’t be bothered by them. Then a lady with braids (employee) came and blatantly looked at me and was shaking her head and threw up her hands as if I was doing something to provoke that. As I said before I lost someone close and my friend was trynna take me out to cheer me up and I couldn’t handle the social setting so I came and spent my money at your establishment. He was next door and u destroy the space I needed. I had to call him because I felt like I was having a panic attack and the majority of the reason was your workers. They were not inviting and very much being in their own bubble and making me feel like an outcast. And all the things they were saying was uncalled for. FYI don’t judge a book by its cover because you don’t know what they’re going through and don’t know what they would...
Read moreTerrible customer service.... Just got yelled at by two different employees who work there (for no reason) all because I asked them if they could hold my Togo order and not to rush because I was gonna go grab a coffee at the place next door ... the employees seem extremely stressed and their attitudes on a scale of 1-10 is an 11.. I walked in Placed and order for 1 breakfast sandwich to go $5.00 and even left a $2.00 tip... right after paying I mentioned I was going to leave to go grab a coffee and pointed out the window.... and then all of a sudden I have this giant angry black woman screaming at me and rolling her eyes and throwing up her hands saying “ I thought I already asked you if you wanted something to drink and you said no!” (*correction I said “ no thank you”) she then told me “it would be like 5 mins “ so I assumed she was telling me not to go anywhere ...anyways I was a bit floored at how extreme and quickly her attitude changed ... I walked down to the pickup to wait and was hoping to ask someone not to rush and please take care of the other customer first and just put my order on rapid pickup or hold on to it because I was trying to step out ... that didn’t happen ... I got a young lady’s attention but just to be yelled at again!!!! She didn’t even ask me or let me speak she just demanded hat I show her my recipe and that it would be ready in a few ... again I wasn’t in a rush anyways ... just trying to ask someone to hold it til I got back from the coffe place next door... bottom line I woke up in a great mood this morning and went in with a great mood and left a large tip just to leave emotionally upset and bummed out about the rest...
Read moreNow most Panera Bread stores have the credit card terminals that swivel and you're supposed to sign it with your finger. It also shows you different percentages of tips that you may wanna leave, including a button for no tip. This is a (better) fast food joint, what kind of tips do they want? There was barely anyone in the store and after 9 minutes I went to the counter to check on the order because the pager didn't go off yet, even though there were no customers after me. When I got to the counter, I noticed my salad was waiting for somebody to pick it up, place it on the counter and page me, but only after I was looking around, somebody put it on a tray and called my name. I said thank you and the person who put the tray on the counter said absolutely nothing back. Do these people know basic economics that the customer is paying their salary? Maybe the Panera management should teach them good manners since their parents failed them miserably! But let's move on, I got to the table only to notice that the tray was smudged everywhere with something yellow and three were even some dry yellow crumbs on the edge of the plate. I assume it as from an egg yolk and my salad had none. Unfortunately I took it back before taking a picture, but one could easily speculate that taking a long time to throw little lettuce, some tomatoes and olives on a plate, not replying when one says thanks, ignoring the order until I go to face them, giving me a nasty plate could be because I left no tip! Or because they're grossly unqualified to serve the public, the provider of...
