During our recent visit to Buckhead, Atlanta, we had the pleasure of discovering Mend Coffee & Goods, and it quickly became a highlight of our trip. This coffee shop offers more than just exceptional beverages and food; it provides an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.  
From the moment we entered, we were captivated by the soothing and beautifully designed interior. The ambiance is both calming and inviting, making it an ideal spot to relax or catch up with friends. The menu boasts a delightful selection of coffee and food options. Everything was freshly prepared. 
What truly sets Mend Coffee & Goods apart is their commitment to accessibility and inclusion. This establishment is planned and designed to cater to individuals of all abilities. The space features lower tables and counters, a spacious restroom equipped with automatic door opener, grab bars, an adult changing table, and thoughtful design elements.  
The staff is really friendly and nice. In a city as vibrant as Atlanta, it’s refreshing to find a place that not only serves great coffee and food but also prioritizes creating a community space where everyone feels a sense of belonging.

Mend Coffee just opened up and what a place this is!
When you walk in, you're met with a well lit, spacious seating area surrounded by various alcoves for larger groups.
They serve Bellwood coffee and they give you a plethora of options to choose from whether it be hot or cold, lattes to americanos. I really liked their avocado toast! They also have quiche offerings as well (goat cheese?) and everyone goes above and beyond in offering service with a smile and a coffee ready to be served.
But what really sells you on this place is the heartbeat of it. The brainchild of Jay and Katherine Wolf who's story of medical tragedy and miracle and hope can drive you into a live that affords you the ability to also be agents of hope and redemption. From their story comes their organization, Hope Heals. A non-profit that specifically communicates this message of hope to the disabled community.

I always research the places I visit to spend my time, and this heartwarming story adds to the charm. “Creating sacred spaces where people with disabilities can experience sustaining hope in the context of inter-ability friendships” – today, those sacred spaces include online communities, summer camp experiences, respite gatherings, and Mend Coffee & Goods.
Upon walking in, you’re greeted with a warm smile and a spacious, welcoming atmosphere – something I truly appreciate. The butterfly decorations on the wall leading to the restroom are beautifully arranged.
