The food here is good but the service is not so great. I’ve preferred ahead several times. When you order ahead you choose a pick up time. Without fail they never have the food ready and the pick up time and I’m stuck waiting for 20-30 minutes for them to complete my order because they seem to prioritize people who are in line. Knowing this I didn’t show up until 20 minutes past my pick up time and guess what. It still wasn’t ready! They also regularly forget things so make sure you check your Order before you leave. Hopefully management will see this so they can make adjustments for a better experience going forward. UPDATE I tried ordering in line rather than ordering ahead. I definitely got my food faster that way. And now I know why my order was never ready when I ordered ahead. It’s because no one seems to have an understanding of what they are suppose to be doing. There were so many people working yet the line was moving so slowly because the front workers kept looking to each other seemingly trying to figure out what to do next. I overheard someone say that to their coworkers that there were two managers there that day, it surely did not show! I am still holding out hope that management is going to get it together because the only reason I go to this location is because it is close to me. Read moreFirst off I want to say working in healthcare I am big on customer service. Today was my first day eating at CAVA however when I drive back to my office to eat I saw a nice long piece of hair. I called and was told by the general manager Zack that I needed to submit my receipt online in order to get a refund. Now mind you there is no user friendly way to do this. He then stated I need to drive back in to get a refund. At this point I was beyond disappointed. I drove back and the only great service I received was from Nate who was nice polite and kind. However Zack had a very non caring demeanor about him. He pretty much brushed it off that it was HAIR in my food and asked what did I want him to do. Sir I drove back to your establishment for a refund since it was not something you could do over the phone. It is very unfortunate that some individuals have the attitude he displayed and working for a large company this will be a reason myself and co workers will not visit this establishment. I truly hope the other locations general managers are nothing like what I experienced today. Very disappointing and angry because not only did I not have lunch but the lunch I was excited to eat had hair in it and I had to drive back to get a refund. I think Zack needs more coaching on customer service. Lastly I am a bit confused on why the men have nets on there heads but the women on have baseball caps with no nets. Read moreFirst time here on yesterday and my experience as a customer was very disappointing and unprofessional. When I arrived at the location, there were no customers in line—just one person sitting at a table eating. I noticed one female employee walking out the door, a male employee at the drink machine sampling beverages, and another male employee behind the counter texting on his phone. I stood at the counter for nearly a minute before the male behind the counter acknowledged me and said, “We’ll be with you in a moment,” while returning to his phone to continue to text.
After waiting a few minutes without being served, the employee behind the counter walked to the kitchen, followed by the male at the drink machine. I continued to stand there, waiting for service. A few minutes later, the female employee who had left when I arrived walked back in and also headed to the kitchen. After speaking with the two males, she went behind the counter, laughed, and began putting on new gloves, at which point I decided to leave.
I'm not sure why I experienced such a lack of service from the three employees yesterday, but I believe management should review the security footage from that day. I've visited many CAVA locations and love the food, but I've never encountered service like this at any restaurant before. I will NEVER return to this...
