This brewery is well known for its IPAs, so if you're interested in ABVs averaging in around 6-7% a drink and flavored with plenty of hops, I highly recommend this place! They also have Hard Seltzer here in case you're not the biggest beer consumer. Their seltzer is absolutely fantastic, not too crazily carbonated (doesn't feel like a Mc. Donald's Sprite), and has a flavor for everyone. Their flavors range from peach, lime, cherry, and a seltzer version of their POG Basement (passionfruit, orange, and guava flavored!). Their Hard Seltzer is probably my favorite on the market and I encourage you to give it a try if you want to drink something besides their IPAs. They have been taking the appropriate precautions of disposable cups, sell a house-made hand sanitizer on-site, and have spread out their tables inside and out to accommodate social-distancing. I recommend to come here when it's sunny, as when it rains it forces everyone inside the warehouse and can be hard to distance as a result. Great...
Read morePre-Covid, I would’ve given Scofflaw five stars. They have good beer, lots of seating, and lovely café lighting outside. The POG is my favorite. They have vodka now, seltzer, and so many options for beer. They have food trucks, so they’re supporting other local businesses. The day I went they even had free beer for educators!
Here’s where they lose a star. I went to Scofflaw on a Saturday in January for the first time since the pandemic began. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of precautions they’re taking for Covid. Some positives: their tables are spaced out and staff are wearing masks. Negatives: they don’t require masks when you’re not at your table or even in the bathroom, they don’t have marked spots on the floor for social distancing, and I saw one employee pull down her mask to talk. Please get it together, Scofflaw, and I will gladly up my rating to the five stars...
Read moreStopped by here on a whim on my way back to the hotel after visiting Sweetwater. Glad I did! Great little place with fantastic beers! Pretty small taproom with large bay windows, a few long bench tables for seating, a small bar that is for serving only (no seating), and a nice outdoors area with seating and plenty of room. Not much of an atmosphere as it's just a basic brick building, (I'm assuming this was some sort of garage or repair shop in it's former life). But the beer certainly makes up for any shortcomings. They had several different beers on tap, although no stouts or porters on when I was there. They also had several seltzers on tap as well. While they were dark beer deficient, I did have some really juicy IPAs that were top notch! This place is definitely...
