Went to McDonald's because it was close to the beach. It took about 15 minutes to get our food ordered. The bathrooms were so disgusting I wouldn't a brought my dog in to use the restroom. Every table in the restaurant was 30 and had food particles on them from previous customers. When we arrived there was not a lot of customers in the restaurant. We braved the obvious and sat down at a table and span about a hour and a 1/2 in the restaurant.Once we got our food both napkin holders were empty we wanted sweet tea and the sweet tea dispenser in the customer area was empty we receive no straw for a drink or spoons for the Sunday's we had ordered. Well waiting to order we noticed what appeared to be an a manager exchanging on friendly words with an Uber driver that was there to pick up a customer's order which was not ready when he arrived. This McDonald's has a great opportunity D to be a gold mine considering its location is about 2 blocks off the beach. It's obvious it was way under staffed and the management there did not care what the customer experience was. McDonald's has stooped to a real low in my book. It's not what I expect from one of the top food chains. Maybe this is in retaliation for them not getting their pay raise to $15 an hour that was in the news. Just be careful because there's a great potential to get sick because of the cleanliness of the restaurant if the tables and chairs and floors are littered and dirty. Read moreThey have two drive-through lanes, but one was closed, ok. The girl taking orders in the drive-through lane that was open was rude. When she first asked to take my order I said I needed a minute to read the menu, because I rarely go to McDonald’s, and I don’t have their menu memorized. After about 10 seconds she asked again to take my order, and I said I needed a minute to look at the menu. After another 10 seconds she asked to take my order again and I said I would let her know when I was ready to order, and I rolled up my window while I looked over the menu… I found what I wanted and place my order, and when I went to pay at the window the lady made a point of telling the person in her speaker, “sorry about the wait.” Making sure I heard that she was blaming me for their wait. The food was not very good, my biscuit was old and dry, and I think I got shorted on the bacon. Overall it was really salty and I threw away half of it. I will not be returning to this...
Read moreAfter waiting an unnecessarily long time to get service based on the amount of cars in front of us, we watched the car in front of us get handed our food and then return it through the window when they realized it wasn't their order. Not only should the employee not have taken it back, but the order wasn't remade as it should have been. To make matters worse, upon finally getting to the window our exchange with the employee was abysmal. "What was your order?" "Two mcdoubles, no pick..." we were then cut off, not told our total and the window closed mid sentence. Change amount wasn't verbalized and food (not remade) shoved in our car. If anyone bothers to confirm with who was working they should remember me as the woman who said "be ruder next time" as the window was once again slammed before we could converse.
