I was in Atlantic Beach for a business trip with a limited budget. Further, the block of rooms set aside for this organization sold out for the nights needed, even if I had been willing to spend that much money. I found Salt Air through Google Maps. The reviews were great, and I booked an extra night because of the location and reviews.
The hotel was perfect for me and a bargain by comparison! I was so happy to be away from the main site. I was warmly welcomed. I was offered a soft drink or adult beverage upon arrival. I was upgraded to a king room, which was nice and unexpected as a single traveler!
The front desk employee took my luggage from my car to my room, and I was given information about the wi-fi and the a/c - heat unit. The upgrade/king room was huge, clean and looked brand new. I had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The kitchen facilities were perfect for my dinner leftovers, water, and soda. I had dessert each night thanks to the welcome candy in each room. The internet was fast, even with a VPN. so I was able to work when not in my meetings. I was only 5 minutes from my meeting location and 5 minutes from the beach. I got to do a long beach walk to watch the sunrise and then pop over to McD's for my breakfast coffee with my voucher. I was within 10 minutes of anything needed - the bank ATM, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store, Walgreens, and even a cigar bar. I'm in my 50s, so not exactly harassed by anyone, but I felt perfectly safe walking around the hotel and to restaurants, etc. in daylight or nighttime.
I had everything I needed. I'd love to return for a personal trip and have more time to use a bike, sit on the beach, or use the pool.
Thank you for a great stay - it made work downtime seem...
Read moreWe stayed a couple of nights, 2 adults. We received a complimentary upgrade to a king bed room which was great as the room was spacious and had a big round table and pleasant color theme (room 6). Most importantly, the room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained and the AC worked well. The shower and tub surround felt brand new and we took nice showers. The pool and lounging area was clean too. It was end of August and we had the pool to ourselves twice. The entire surroundings were quiet and the location is super convenient, within walking distance to CVS and Walgreens, cafes, restaurants, and the beach! The staff was kind and always available and the yogurt, snacks, drinks, and extra amenities in the office were much appreciated. The guest book was full of praise by happy guests from the US and Europe. We will definitely return here as we appreciated the cleanliness, quietness, amenities, complimentary pool/beach towels, the pool, the staff, and walking distance to where you want to be (definitely quieter than staying by the beach - based on previous experience). We noticed a room (maybe 4) that had two lounge chairs outside that would be a nice option to sit and relax right outside the room. Some things that would make it better in the future would be two luggage racks instead of just one, better pillows, non-disposable coffee cups, dish shop, a recycling can, replacing the shower head filter on the pool shower, and why not, complimentary wine to accompany the...

Check-in was a breeze, even when we arrived in the evening, and we were delighted by the welcome package, which included free beach towels and some sweet treats. The staff went above and beyond throughout our stay, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.||The location couldn’t be better—just a quick 5-minute walk to the beach and all the wonderful restaurants, cafes, and shops in Neptune Beach. As hotel guests, we were provided complimentary beach chairs and an umbrella, making our beach time even more enjoyable. We also rented fat tire bikes directly from the hotel, which allowed us to explore the area from a fresh perspective—so much fun!||The team gave us excellent recommendations for things to do in the area, and we were never short on coffee, water, or other supplies in our apartment. The ice maker next to the pool was such a thoughtful touch in what felt like a little oasis.||It’s clear that the owners and managers of Salt Air Inn have redefined hospitality. We’ve never experienced such personalized, attentive service. If you’re ever in the area, I cannot recommend staying here enough—it’s...
