I had high expectations for this place. Heard so many good things. First off, the guacamole was absolutely amazingly the best guac I ever had! Nutty flavor of avocados, fresh tomato, onion, and cilantro. Unfortunately the rest of the meal was disappointing. We ordered the mole and verde enchiladas and shrimp tacos. The shrimp had no seasoning, and the onions were the only thing that added flavor. The mole and verde sauce honestly tasted like it was from a can/jar. The refried beans as well. The rice was OK. The only redeeming thing was the cheese. The verde sauce did not complement the chicken, and honestly I really did not feel it was worth it. Bandido’s down the street is way better for a similar price. If you head a little further out of Attleboro and go to Central Falls you will have an amazing array of Mexican and Guatemalan food options for way cheaper. Save your coin! The decor, music, and ambiance is nice. The service was excellent and a family friendly environment. The drinks looked good although we didn’t indulge. I really wanted to love this spot but it just...
Read moreI've been to this place twice (sometimes in life you've to give things a try more than once) the first time I didn't remember much but it was one of those nights if you know what I mean. The second time happened after banditos wich is a close by well reviewed place was a longer wait then my patience level at the moment...hangry. just to note I've been there before and the food and service was pretty good. So anyhow after that discouraging scene of a wait we went for my second try at Azteca with is also my gfs favorite exchange place. So take two the first thing I notice is the more festive atmosphere. The place was not as full as it should've been. The service was really fast and friendly. But where it counts is the food. It was authentic. I've had many taco from all over and they were on point. And just to keep it real; the place started filling up a bit and a lot of those people where of the culture... to me that speaks volumes. Way to go azteca I'm on...
Read moreThe waitress was great women who did her best to attend us. Very friendly. But the food was anything but authentic Mexican food. For starters me and my partner ordered guevos Rancheroes. Very simple dish to make. The sauce was gross. They used no chopped tomatoes or unions or Celantro. Very basic ingredients for this traditional dish. It was served as if it were a microwaved dinner.
The eggs were over cooked. We asked them to remake it. The waiter asked her boss. Her Disgraceful Boss told her to charge us extra if we wanted it re-done. I pleaded that in this dish eggs needed to have the egg yolk wet to add to the flavor of this dish. He replied saying that his Restuarant wasn’t authentic Mexican food but instead...
