Papa Gino's — Restaurant in Attleboro

Horrible customer service. Do not recommend eating at this restaurant at all. Came here with my mother and her boyfriend to eat. The cashier/person at the counter was an older white man, and as I walked past the window to enter the building, I noticed him making direct eye contact with me, and glaring at me through the glass, making an awful expression. I tried to ignore this, and proceeded to enter the building. He did not acknowledge us when we walked into the building. My mom’s boyfriend went to use the restroom, and me and my mother walked up to the cashier. We politely asked the man how many slices were in a small pizza, and he responded dismissively, in a cold & unfriendly tone. His response was short and abrupt. Me and my mom walked outside of the building and briefly discussed whether or not we should still eat there. We decided that we’d give it another chance, we were hungry, it was late and we needed to eat. It was around this time that I noticed the cashier glaring at me through the window a second time from inside the building again, scowling and staring directly at me, rolling his eyes .. That made me and my mom change our minds, and we decided that we should eat elsewhere. When my mom’s boyfriend came out of the restroom, he still wanted to eat though, and I went back into the restaurant with him, because I was curious to see how we would be treated. We called the cashier over, and told him we were ready to order. He glares at us, shrugs, and passively responds with “Okay.” Me and mom’s boyfriend immediately turned around, and left the building. This cashier was rude, unfriendly, and had HORRIBLE customer service skills. The way he glared at me was uncalled for, and the way he communicated with us was horrible. Well, I haven’t been of this location for 12 years. Not even Teddy Bruski could convince me to stop in. The menu is changed and the faces behind the counter have changed purchase the pizza and a sandwich. Both were pretty good. The pizza looked lovely and was decorated nicely with all the sauce on top look like a piece of artwork It was OK. The sandwich was a little dry, but it was a pretty good sandwich altogether. price a little bit higher than usual but that’s the way it goes these days everything’s over priced. During the experience, the best customer service agent ever (Mark)helped one of the customers out all the way to their car because he cares and has common sense . you should hire more people like this gentleman and people like me will help attract more customers. When I was younger at lunchtime at PAPA GINOS one couldn’t find a seat and then Friday and Saturday was the same way. It was very busy however these days if there’s two people in there one is probably a manager and the other one is probably using the bathroom. We called a day before to schedule a large order. We scheduled the delivery for 1:30. When the food still hadn't arrived at 2:15 we called to check on our order. After several tries we finally got through and was told the food was on the way. After another 15 minutes when the food still hadn't arrived we called again. My husband asked to speak with a manager. He explained that we were still waiting and it was over an hour!! The manager said it was very busy and he couldnt help how busy it was then proceeded to HANG UP on my husband!!! I understand that it can get busy which is why I called a day before to place my order. The customer service at this location was absolutely HORRIBLE. I will never order from that location again and will seriously consider ordering again from any other...
