if i could give a -5 stars i would, if u ever want to go to a restaurant and leave hungry and with less money in your pocket this is the right place for you, we ordered and what we got was a little swipe of bean, like a sticker of beans in the plate, 2 ounces of carnitas, a little lettuce and 2 pieces of tomatoe that resembled a green salad all for $16, when the pound in cardenas is just $9, i ordered chicharrones in green salsa what i got? 6 little pieces of chicharrones, very hard chicharrones, when u have to let'em boil a little in the salsa so they get smooth, for another $16 and a sticker of beans, 2 scarse filled platers for $48 and a day before we when to applebees and we drunk and eat for just $50, i feel sorry for the waitress about no tip but we were very furious because we were still hungry... i thought nothing could beat the bad service of don chente in huntington park, but oh man i was wrong! in short.. id recommend this awful place just to the...

The place was completely empty when I walked in and I often wondered why there's no cars when driving past this location in the recent past. I was told to sit down anywhere and was not given a drink option until 15 min of waiting for my waitress. The hostess that sat me down looked like she was having a bad day, but my waitress had the same look to her. Finally, my waitress serves me my drink and takes my order. This was all done with super horrible customer service. The hostess even got her meal before me, apparantly on her break. The food did not taste one bit authentic and lacked flavor period. Carnitas are definitely not traditional and lacked flavor. Overall, I would not go back. The mixture of poor customer service and flavor lacking food should be enough of a reason. The menu is waaaay over priced as well.

My parents sent in an order for pickup, after having eaten here a few times and enjoying it. Upon getting home, they realized the order was wrong (my mom wanted flour tortillas for her enchiladas but they gave her corn.)

Although disappointed, she decided to eat it anyway, but a few bites into her rice she discovered an thick, long hair. Needless to say, this is disgusting.

My dad called the restaurant to tell them what happened and they claimed that in order to be refunded they had to return the food that night. Upon arriving, the person at the counter acted annoyed instead of apologetic. She then presented them with $13.99 in cash, not even enough to cover the meal + tax + $5 tip. Definitely an unpleasant experience all around, and definitely won’t be dining...
