My husband stopped by here and dropped $36 to try it.

We can’t eat any of it and are pretty disappointed.

Here’s why:

-the chicken had an enormously superfluous amount of dry seasoning on it. The one of the three chicken orders he ordered “plain” was quite burnt. So much seemed burnt on all three versions of the chicken and there seemed to be so much excess dry seasoning on the 2 that weren’t ordered plain that it has me wondering if they put on so dang much to try to hide that they’re burned. The plain tastes bitter due to the black burnt parts.

-the French fries are DRENCHED in more of this red powdered seasoning that tastes like dirt. It’s akin to the “Prairie Dust” they powder fries and just about everything else with at Longhorn Steakhouse. Outback also seems to dust (and also ruin) their fries with it along with their “Bloomin’ Onion.” It’s a mix of paprika, garlic, and idk - sand? It’s gross and if you don’t love the flavor of the “Prairie Dust,” (which tastes like dust, so at least it’s well named) you can’t make even the fries taste good.

Please can we go back to keeping this red dust gross seasoning just on the “Bloomin’ Onion” style appetizers???!!! It’s crept into polluting most everything here.

Oh well, at least the fountain Dr. Pepper was good.

(Leaving 2 stars on behalf of those weirdos out there that must love “Prairie Dust” seasoning for restaurants to keep expanding the list of food they put it on, and that also like burned to...

The experience at Dave's Hot Chicken is just like the feeling of beating a full 3 stack of ximmers in Trials of Osiris. There's truly nothing like it. Food 10, staff 10, atmosphere 10. The food is also great for both cutting and bulking, if you're into that kinda thing. When I stopped in, I was greeted by an employee that somewhat resembled a Greek god, perhaps Hercules or maybe even Zues. I think Isaac was his name. The physique was other worldly and he had such a kind heart. It seems as if divine intervention brought us together so I could have such a great dining experience at Dave's Hot Chicken. I'll be sure to stop in again. I had the tenders first, they were fantastic, but I've heard great things about the sliders as well. Can't wait...

As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Tashoya, who immediately asked if it was our first time at Dave’s. Since it was, she took the time to walk us through the menu, explain the spice levels, and offer recommendations. Her suggestions were spot-on, and her friendly, attentive service made our experience exceptional. She checked in with us after our food arrived to ensure everything was perfect—she’s truly a 10/10 and a big reason we’ll be returning to this location.

The rest of the staff was equally welcoming and professional, creating a great overall atmosphere. We would absolutely recommend this location to others and look forward to...

The behavior of the staff was extremely rude. They acted as if I was receiving everything free of cost. This branch is truly pathetic. This is the second time the staff has behaved rudely toward me. I have never had any problems at the Big Beaver Road, Troy branch. I recommend visiting the Troy branch instead of the Auburn Hills branch. I have just posted a picture of the person behaving inappropriately, order date, time and number. I hope someone takes notice of this issue.

First I’d like to say Ellenona made our experience very delightful. This was our first time at Dave’s Hot Chicken so my husband and I were very indecisive. She was very patient and accommodating and even made suggestions. We order 2 #3’s with sub Mac and cheese instead of fries on 1 order, and put my toppings on the side the way I requested. The food was great, we’ll definitely be back.
