After work, my coworkers and I chose Red Ox since we had never been. The hostess cleaned off our table and was polite. Our server, Anna, was a sweet girl and nice. However, I think her focus was someplace else. We ordered the sampler appetizer and drinks and although we asked for extra sauces, plates, napkins and utensils, she only brought us one set of utensils. While we waited and our food got cold, I just got up myself and got my own plates and utensils from other tables. Anna walked by again and no sauce or table check. Again, I served myself by going to the bar to get my table refills on the drinks. The bartender, Becca, was immediately accommodating and super nice. Becca brought our drinks directly to us and cleared our table of the used plates. If it weren't so busy, we would've moved our party to the bar. When I saw Anna sweeping as we were still waiting for our food, no table check and still no napkins I knew she had forgotten us. Another server brought us our food which was cold. We all ordered the Prime steak and all of our steaks were cold. You could tell Anna forgot. I spoke to the manager and he didn't even know who she was when I described her. He never told us his name, and after leaving to investigate he sent another server to tell us he'd take care of our drinks. Anna finally popped up to give us the excuse that she was sick and not feeling well and did we need anything? Are you serious? No! Sick girl! Quit breathing on the food and if you're sick go home. Jen was our replacement server and she was so apologetic about the experience. She did her best to try and finish us up as we all ate our food cold. I would recommend more server training as the service didn't even hit mediocre. And although the steak was cold, it actually was good and I wish we could've tipped the cook. It's not their fault the server wasn't in the game. As first time guests we were...

2nd review: We recently visited this American restaurant again, noticed that the menu is more Italian influenced, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience.
Despite the Italian-focused menu, we decided to try a mix — ordering both a pizza and a taco. To our surprise (and delight), both dishes were absolutely delicious. The pizza had a perfectly crisp crust with rich, flavorful toppings that tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The taco, although not traditionally Italian, was packed with flavor and had a unique twist that made it stand out — clearly, the kitchen knows how to handle more than one cuisine.
The vibe of the restaurant is one of its best features. It feels like a place where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy good food with friends or family. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there, which added to the overall positive experience.
Another bonus: the prices were very reasonable. For the quality of food and service, it felt like a great value. We also noticed several large TVs around the restaurant, making it an ideal spot to catch a game. Whether you’re a sports fan looking for a fun place to watch with a cold drink or just someone in search of great food and a relaxed atmosphere, this place...
Read moreHorrible. I haven’t been here in years and my Grandma wanted to take me to lunch for my bday. The regular dining room was closed and we had to sit in the bar which we dealt with even though it wasn’t ideal.
The service was honestly appalling. My Grandma has a gluten allergy and when I asked the waitress if the cauliflower crust was gluten free she looked like a deer in headlights. I asked again and she said she would have to check and let me know AND NEVER CAME BACK TO LET US KNOW. It was and she rang it in but I have a serious issue with a restaurant that doesn’t take food allergies serious. She said she was new and I completely understand that and I don’t expect everyone to be as educated as I am, but I also expect that if you’re working in a restaurant, you at least pretend to care and take it seriously and find out for me.
We waited forever for a water refill. We waited forever for boxes. We waited forever for the check. She asked us three separate times if we wanted one or separate, and when she finally brought them, they were separate and we had to ask her to put them back together.
I watched her give other tables around us great service, so I don’t know what the issue was maybe it’s because we were two women but I can assure you after all these years of not going here and trying it again. I will not be going back and I would advise anyone who has food allergies to be...
